Hypocrisy, Player Behavior and Riot

Hello,

The last time I really put much into this game, Dominion was still around, the Tribunal was player based, and Riven was the new hot mess, instead of Yauso (which is the old new hot mess). I've fooled around with this game since then, and after seeing another Ryze re-work happen, and the fact that champions needed a rework when I was playing and still haven't gotten one to this day, I've come to the conclusion that Riot hasn't changed at all. This is a bad thing.

I've never been banned, suspended or forcibly muted in this game. However, after reading a ton of the forums topics here, I find it laughable that there's even a player behavior board. There should be an "admin" behavior board. Where do I even begin?

It's laughable that people get muted/suspended for bad language in this game, when their CEO has multiple documentations of banning people he doesn't like, banning people who've fed in his games, banned people who've carried across from his games, cursed out and harassed people before banning them. He's even given out fully unlocked accounts to his friends, accounts that are really only supposed to be handed out in very special circumstance. Typically to other staff, or champion winners. Not because you knew the dude in College.

It's laughable that people get muted/suspended for toxic behavior when their employees did a walk out because Riot wont let them sue them for an environment of sexual harassment by some of the top people in their field. The fact that Riot, for years, talked down to their community about how toxic they were, when their high level employees were preying on their female employees is just the icing on the shit-cake.

It's laughable that players get suspended/banned for stream sniping, raging on stream, and the like, when every single E-Sports scene is rife with scandal after scandal. Teams not getting paid. Regions outside of NA/EU cheating and the Riot employees of that area doing nothing. There are still huge scandals that Riot never addressed, will never address, and never got solved. Some going back years, to the near foundation of the scene itself.

It's laughable that Riot will silence people for Memes they hate, which they have, yet when people groan at the "Ryze Re-Work" meme their reply is to keep doing that shit, when characters that haven't been touched since beta, like Rammus, are still around with kits that make zero sense in the climate. Why the Hell is Malphite still the way he is? This boards very existence is odd, because Riot loves to tell people to change, yet they can't change the most broken aspects of the single most important part of their game: the champions.

It's laughable that Riot wants people to "promise" that they wont be toxic anymore, even forcing them to acknowledge they were before letting them play again, when they've broken so many promises in the past. How many times did Riot promise that Dominion was going to be fixed? Supported? Tournaments, and updates, and the like? They pointed out to no one playing Dominion, but let's be honest here: A lot more people would of played it if they gave it support outside of the first three months they made it. And that's just one of many. The list of promises they haven't kept is a mile long, and stretches back since the foundation of League.

Riot, and League is toxic, because Riot is toxic, and their foundation is built on lie after lie, and when someone brings it up, instead of acknowledgement, they plug their ears and hum to themselves.

I say this, knowing full well that people are going to look at this and say it's sour grapes, or doesn't belong on this board. But I'd like to say that this does belong on this board in particular, because this board is the only one where it does fit: Player Behavior. I'm just talking about the Behavior of a very different kind of player.

So, I booted up League for the first time in basically a year, I'm looking at the screen, and I'm choosing to uninstall and not even bother. To those who get banned by Riot, even if you were an asshole, even if you deserved it, don't feel too bad about it. At least you don't lie constantly to the player base, break your promises when they count, and act high an mighty, all the while you're sexually harassing your employees at the highest levels of the company. Take note that you literally can't be more toxic than a company who silences sexual harassment victims through forced arbitration. That you really shouldn't lose sleep over Riot saying your toxic and you need to get your house in order, when they intentionally go out of their way to gas light its community by saying stupid shit, doing stupid shit, and banning people for the same exact shit that they're doing.

In short, the reason why this board exists is because Riot perpetuates toxicity in its community by the very foundation of how its create and maintained. The leafs don't have rot, it's the roots.

Caio.

I challenge you to find a single post on here were people have been punished for bad language. You can say fuck, shit, piss, damn, crap, bastard, etc without being punished, what DOES get you punished, is when you throw it at people.

when their CEO has multiple documentations of banning people he doesn't like, banning people who've fed in his games, banned people who've carried across from his games, cursed out and harassed people before banning them. I would VERY much like to even a SINGLE piece of proof for this.

I'm not defending this in the slightest, but that isn't every, hell, we still haven't even gotten hard evidence of these allegations and that doesn't give an excuse either way.

Again, can I see even a single case of this, because I have heard about that in Fortnite, but not LoL.
