A player just threatened my family and I want to be sure that someone addresses it

I just played a game where a player threatened to rape my wife in front of me. He was very threatening and hostile to me for banning Jarvan. Granted I should have been paying more attention to his hover, but there is no excuse for this. It was ridiculous how he reacted and he needs a ban. I don't care if this is just chat from an angry kid online, I take threats on my family very seriously and I don't want this swept under the rug by the system. What is the best way to make sure Riot sees it?

Grow the actual fuck up.

Do you genuinely fucking think they are going to fucking attack your family? Really? Lmao.

edit:

this idiot of an op fucking called the police cause someone online said something mean in a game

what the actual fuck.

this kid is fucking wasting the time of the police, who could actually be saving lives, for a fucking troll in a video game. Absolutely ridiculous. This guy should be banned for being clearly under the age of 12.

Hint: Don't believe everything online bud

If you take threats to your family as seriously as you claimed, you should call the police.

Riot won’t do shit. I’ve had someone threaten to track me down and rape me. I’ve also had someone threaten to find and kill me. I’ve contacted riot support and was actually told it was my fault for choosing to log on. If you try to get info for police, riot employees will not help. The only thing they will do, is ban YOU if you said any mean words to this animal.

The fact that this got a bunch of downvotes pretty much tells you all you need to know about the Boards/League community.

Send in a support ticket.

You play on NA so i assume u live in usa so i assume you have a gun, why fear?

I wouldn’t take it seriously in the sense that anything will happen to your family but more so in the sense that nothing even remotely close to that type of language should be tolerated. Player deserves an IP ban imo.

If you used the post-game report, you've probably done what you can. If he knows where you live / feel this is a serious threat, then you should call the police.

Do you have screenshots/video/something extra besides pointing out which game it happened in? Make a support ticket and specify what happened and in what game, and if you have extra stuff attach it to the support ticket.
