I've been playing on this account for the past week or so, I haven't even touched my main account, 4MeRockz, in that time.

I got home from work yesterday and decided to log into 4MeRockz since I heard ranked is coming back soon, I was gonna prepare to start playing ranked again. I tried logging in several times and nothing worked, so I went to the email-address on the account and found out that my email was also hacked.

I contacted Riot support and this is what I got back:

Greetings Summoner,

I understand that this situation isn't easy for you, and we do want to help you here, so I personally looked at your account and didn't find any evidence that this account was compromised.

Regardless of if it even was another person who had done this the outcome in this case would not change. To the other players in this match it didn't matter who was playing at the time, they were only made victim to the excessively toxic chat exhibited by this account. For this reason I will not be able to reverse or modify this suspension.

So the person who contacted me LITERALLY said that even though it was another person who got on my account and was playing it doesn't matter.

So if your account gets hacked and gets permabanned from the hacker, oh well? That's just not right.

And I don't understand how there's "no evidence" when I'm unable to log in to my account at all, my email was also hacked but I finally got it back and changed the password yesterday evening and found out that whoever hacked my email was also trying to get into my WoW account and my PSN account.

And I looked up my account match history and my account was playing games at times I literally can't because I would be at work for those times, there's nothing BUT evidence my account was hacked.

Riot now just fully blew me off with:

"I have sufficiently explained the matter of this suspension and as such do not see any further concerns I can address. If you have anything else you would like to talk to me about please let me know. Otherwise, I shall consider this matter closed."

They explained nothing to me, just that my account got banned and that even though it was a hacker they're not giving me my account back.

I will echo what's been said here with hopefully some further clarification.

Riot has teams of people who work all day long verifying ownership of accounts and determining if an account was compromised/hacked. If they do not "flag" the account as having previously been compromised, then the behavior team is under no obligation to remove a suspension simply based on your word. That being said, you don't seem to have gotten in contact with the account recovery team to actually recover the account and prove ownership of it. Once you do that, if you prove ownership, ask the account recovery team to remove the suspension - they'll forward it to the player behavior team, who will verify it was within the timeframe, and they'll work with players to remove damage caused when an account was hacked.

That being said, if there are any games that you played in the reform card, or a lot of recent valid reports from games you played, you will likely not see this overturned. Riot will work with individuals who are hacked and who are otherwise good members of the community. But if you were close to a ban anyway, and the hacker just pushed you over the edge, they are less likely to give you the benefit of the doubt.

TL;DR: Submit a ticket under "I need help accessing/recovering my account" while logged out, follow their instructions, and once you've proved ownership, ask the accounts team if the suspension can be removed.

Pretty much what was said below, but let me clarify on this a bit. If you don't ban accounts that were "hacked", the following actions would occur by people that like to get around the punishment system

  1. Player changes his email adress
  2. player changes password
  3. Player flames and gets banned
  4. Player claims he was hacked

And some of the arguments I heard about how you can prevent this by checking the ip-adress and mac adress of the computer are completely false too. You can easily play on another computer or use a fake mac adress and vpn to get around this. It is sad that your account got banned, but I can see where they are coming from with this one.

Also your screenshot says it is a 2 week ban, so don't give up on your account yet, try to get it back.

Thats because you cant really prove your account was hacked and you didnt just give it to friend to play League and he was toxic. In the end, any rule breaking that happens on account is your responsibility.

Here's what they do,they check your IP and log in times, they match those up with the times you have been most likely to play, and then they make their decision. I bet your IP address was the same, and that is most likely why you did not get your suspension reversed, because they know what system you logged in from no matter what you ''claim''.Could you provide proof your account was logged into from another location or from a different IP address, then you might get some help.
