Most Kills = Most Honorable

From my perspective the vast majority of the games people don't seem to understand whats honorable. Getting the most kills isn't the most honorable thing. Its such a joke that people with the most positive attitude aren't the one being honored the most. Any thoughts and opinions on this matter?

I don't see how its an issue to be honest. You can't force people to honor whoever had the most positive attitude, and I think its shows that despite what this forum seems to think, people would rather play with teammates who can carry them over people who feed but have a "positive attitude".

No one even honors in my games. I played about 6 games in a row where no one from my team honored anyone.

last game i played i honored my mid laner cho... he swapped lanes with top laner after the top laner was behind and got camped... he played for the team... he build items to benefit not only him and team. was very unselfish and a great person to play with.

just so happen he ended up with most kills.

but i didnt do too shabby going 2-6-31 as support

what sucks to me is that you can only honor one teammate per game...

that same game i spoke about where i honored CHO my lucian had a bad early game and really fell behind to caitlyn ... but he stayed cool and calm , he just kept on trucking... and never was a neg influence in game

I've felt like this as well - it's not necessarily the most kills, but the person who shows the most skill. I think it would be kind of interesting to have 4 or 5 categories and that you need 3 or more votes for a particular category to be honored. That way you could have people honored for being "skilled", "unflappable", "shot caller", "Jokester/all-around-fun", etc.

They've said this is the first iteration, and I like where they're going by having a critical mass of votes to recognize someone, so I have to assume the next step is to allow people to vote for more than 1 category/have honorable opponent. I also like the idea of having a mini-award ceremony after the games though.

I usually honor the friendliest person.

I get honored sometimes for leadership even if I'm 9/7/20. But it's the 20 assists and shot calling that I can easily get. That really helps bring my team to a win vs. individual skill.

I play support so if noone did anything memorable i honor my adc for gg<3 :P although usually i get a few honors for keeping it cool or teamwork during the game :P But tbh there isn't much room for leadership... i mean typing every shot is exhausting and when you ping it doesn't show your name :P

I see this a lot as well. Best idea is to skip honoring so the team doesnt get an extra honor boost.

I don't know how it works on NA but I meet several different situations.

While ofc the Support is most likely the one getting for sure a honorable mentions, the most honored guys tend to be ppl who kept a calm attitude during the match and then the ones who make good calls for objectives/teamfights if they ping/write things in chat.
