Chinese LoL Culture

I recently had to move to the Chinese league of legends server for ping issues and I thought I'd put this out there for anyone who was wondering is considering creating an account on the Chinese server.

First off, the biggest change is probably the selfish attitude found on a regular basis here. Sacrificing for the good of the team? Nope. If you're in trouble, most of the time your team will leave you to die unless they think they can get a kill out of it. The level of skill at ks ing is astounding. Mechanical skill and winning lane is everything.

However, grouped up level 1 invades are super popular, although most of the time one person gets caught out and dies because their team didn't see themselves getting a kill out of helping and that's it

People worship pro players. Whatever is strong in esports is usually a very popular pick.

No refunds T_T

Few players play for fun. Picking the strongest champion in the meta instead of a champion you find fun is one of the few ways to perform well.

In general, mechanical skill is higher but teamwork is lacking

Instalocking is almost always happening, and up to silver, 2 players out of 5 actually call lane.

Players are pretty toxic but that doesn't matter because I can't understand what they're saying half of the time. They come up with some complex, imaginative insults
