Riot banning system

I have been at my best and maybe sometimes say fuck but never in a bad way against my teammates So long story short: i played a game against a sivir that was really toxic against there team and she killed me and then said ez so i got upset and replied with kys and %%% i know that words like that is considered bad but i have been non toxic against my teammates since i got my previous ban.

But where im getting at is, why do i get banned for 2 weeks after stepping once out of line i get that you guys like to eliminate toxicity and stuff like that but why do i get banned for something i regretted saying the moment i pressed enter im not angry typing this but im just really frustrated

You got the escalation because hate speech and encouragements of self-harm are wholly unwelcome in League. It's far, far more egregious than run-of-the-mill flame - I mean, hell, you're telling someone to kill themselves over a videogame.

It's not enough to regret it the moment you type it - this is a case where you shouldn't type it at all. Hate speech and encouraging self-harm will always net a 14-day ban from the gate, assuming a clean slate status.

I get where you are coming from but still why would something i thought about in a split second make me unable to play the game for 2 weeks and lose my honor that's what im asking for im wondering why ruining the entire game for my team is punished less harsly for saying a bad word i get that people may have mental issues or something but it's still a game even roblox and minecraft punishes less harsly than league and those games are targeted for children under the age of 13.

There is times where I think it can be to harsh when a enemy says way worse and probably haven't been banned, and never gets the result of punishment they need but the moment you say one word with few strikes on your account seems like they will hit you first for no reason, I think they should add a decay timer on last ban to refresh every time if you don't get banned or a report so on for like 5 months then makes it less harder to get banned or chat restricted so on but other then that, I don't think enough players use the mute button they complain all game you ping and talk to much maybe but no one tends to mute you or them, then still complains in all chat or on your team that you are still talking, it's little sad but its honestly 1 click away not that hard and I think that's what gets people in trouble they don't use it but other then that just use the mute button and stay flame free.

I Just got banned for a game where yeah i got frustrated however i was not being toxic towards my team i was throwing back statements they made towards me. I don't feel that if enough people report you it goes without saying that "Ur Toxic" this does not make sense to me I was in a game with people and i'm just trying to get out of bronze and these people are throwing the game and most of them are prob in groups and if one of them says to report you then all of them join which doesn't seem fair to me i think at least a real player should look towards accounts that are on the verge of being banned i don't feel i was being toxic in any of those games and i feel i was just arguing or calling out peoples false statements if u look at the messages with the last person i talked to they were being toxic towards me and completely out of line but i guess since i'm the only one who reported them the system doesn't see them as toxic this game it unfair when it comes to banning.
