question about 2 week suspension

Making long story short: I've got suspended for 2 weeks for trashtalk and I kinda deserved that. I've read that after those 2 weeks there is like 3 month "trial" where I can prove that I've learned my lesson, etc.

My question is: will I get perma banned for afk? I've never intentionally went afk, but you know how it is - sometimes your internet just decides to turn off (sometimes couple of minutes, sometimes couple of hours), I play league long enough to know that people are willing to report someone if he's been afk for 5 minutes. I'm just really afraid to lose my acc to stupid accident like that.

And what about those people who get randomly mad at you for no reason (for example threatening me to gank em if I'm jungler and i refuse to do that cause I simply don't see that gank working out). How should I "defend" myself from those false reports?

Please, help me to understand how this 3 month "trial" works because that fear of losing account that I've put so much time & money into already made me reconsider my attitude towards other players.

IFS and leavebuster are separate systems however if leavebuster finds your pattern of behavior to look like intentional AFK/leaving, then you may get a permaban. However, I have had leavebuster punishments years ago when I was on a different ISP. I had two games in a row where I disconnected for large periods of time due to my ISP and I got a 3 day ban. When I contacted player support with all of my email screen shots from my phone and the ISP status site screen shots showing my ISP had problems in my area, they said it's not that my account is in bad standing but that when my internet starts to get spotty because of my ISP, don't play more than one game and just wait for it to get better before coming back and playing. This is why I say it probably won't but if you AFK or leave on a frequent basis that looks like a pattern of intentional leaving that you may get a permaban.

If people get randomly mad at you, mute them and keep playing to the best of your ability and shake it off. Remember that false reports have no impact on your honor. So if you get reported but the IFS finds 0 toxicity in your record for that game, that person has done nothing to you except cut into their own credibility.

I think this is a misunderstanding of what people have posted in the past.

Tantram has said that on average it takes 3 months to get out of dishonorable.

This means that you're on super thin ice for however long it takes for you to prove to Riot that you're not toxic anymore. For clarity sake, I'm going to use an example that describes how Reds have described the system:

When you get reported or when you're under Riot's eye during the reformation period (like you are now), your game gets reviewed and gives it a rating from 0 to 10 in toxicity, 0 being not toxic and 10 being really toxic.

Rating of 0 = no toxicity and you've got a clean game. You've made a step towards getting out of dishonorable. Rating of 1 to 3 = mild toxicity but not toxic enough to warrant a punishment. You've taken one step back and are staying dishonorable longer. Rating of 4 to 6 = toxic that definitely warrants a punishment. If you had a 2 week ban prior, you're going to be permabanned. Rating of 7 to 9 = really toxic that needs elevation to the next tier of punishment. If you had a 2 week ban prior, you're going to be permabanned. Rating of 10 = so severely toxic that you will get permabanned even if you didn't just have a 2 week ban prior to this.

If your game is rated as 0, that means someone made a false report and it actually did nothing to your honor. You are on your way to getting out of dishonorable.

If your game is found to be a 1 to 3, although you aren't going to be punished, you are slowing down your honor redemption and you will be stuck in dishonorable.

If your game is found to be a 4 to 10, you are going to be permabanned.

If you do nothing wrong, there is no need to defend yourself from the false reports. This isn't like a court case where the two sides have to present evidence. Riot already has all the evidence. If you did nothing wrong, they already know that.

You will generally not be punished with suspensions for AFKing. There is no "trial period" - your reform is measured continually and comprehensively over time. There is no set time that it takes to show reform.

People have been manually reviewed and punished before for consistently rage quitting.
