league of legend community is really toxic

i have been playing league of legends for 9 months now and i have realised out of all the online games i played (including call of duty and overwatch), this game has the most toxic community. every single game now a days i get flamed for low cs, loosing lane, not roaming well, etc. (keep in mind most of these games are draft pick). But ranked is a different story. it almost seems pointless climbing in ranked because the higher i go the more toxic it gets. i am currently in silver 1 and if the enemy gets first blood my teammate would either flame or give up. its become so bad that every game i have to /mute all which i hate doing because i want to communicate with my team. some to most of the flame is racial slurs or demotivating comments and if i report it nothng happens. its really sad

sorry but i feel as if i needed to make this statement because nothing is being done about it

Riot has no intent to fix the community, League has always been a toxic game and always will be. people will eventually realize that they are all toxic and riot is just making players blame the "toxicity" on themselves. No other game has a chat system so toxic they permaban other players. You cannot get banned from hearthstone because theres no chat. Toxic players dont get chat taken away from them but rather just all of they're skins and time because Riot as a shitty company absorbs all of that. If you are feeling that the game is toxic don't spend money on skins as you will inevitably be driven to say something back to a "toxic" player that will be considered "toxic" itself. There is nothing wrong with flaming back as nobody truely gets hurt from arguing however Riots intent is to actually convince these players that they are wrong and to buy more skins on theyre new accounts. It may take being a victim to this scheme yourself to understand it but the main idea is that Riot is initiating a blame game among players to prove who is more"toxic" by theyre standards

Lol just mute them they just get tilted when they do bad or if someone else does bad it's a problem with our whole generation other games are just as toxic I think that people just don't know how to deal with frustration anymore if you look at older gamers (30+) you can see they are way better at controlling their anger It is something I'm very curious about are parents overall getting soft and not teaching their kids to control their emotions or is it because we sit behind a screen with no fear of punishment because I bet 90+% of these toxic players actually have manners IRL... Anyway point is it's not this specific games community that is toxic it's just how people are on online games everywhere

Verbal offenses are like the main things that gets punished. Every day theres dozens of posts here from people who got punished for their verbal toxicity. So dont worry about nothing being done. The problem is the massive playerbase. You're always gonna find a new person who flames you, or a new account they flame you from. Tons of people have numerous accounts (I think). I have 3 or 4 myself. I dont flame people over their video game skills because I would feel like a massive douchebag thinking that not being good at a video game is a bad thing or something, but the point still stands. Tons of players with tons of accounts. Gonna have to pick, have chat and deal with things out of your control, or have control by muting, or just not play the game :/

ROBLOX is more toxic. In LoL if you are toxic you might get punished but for most other games if you are toxic you won't get punished.

i played an mmo called darkfall that was much worse than this game,tension was always high cause of dropping all gear on death.a lot of try hard players from quake and counterstrike were normally the best players so im sure u can imagine.thats how i even heard of this game was clanmates played this as a side game while waiting for a siege or pvp trip to happen
