Why are experienced players SO toxic towards newer ones?

I was playing some draft pick earlier with some clearly experienced players (both sides) as Kai’sa bottom and the enemy support (pyke) flashed in and hooked my support and he ended up dying. Instantly he started going off on me and telling the whole team that bot is lost because I’m garbage, a few minutes later I died and now the enemy bot laner decided to insult me as well for being bad and not knowing how to play well.

I’m level 14 right now and have been playing for about a week, I have a sibling who really helps me out but I’m still not great. Why can’t I just be inexperienced without being flamed to hell for it? Do experienced players really have such fragile egos? Is this what I can expect from the game moving forward?

It's the mentality. They forget they were once newbies too and had to learn the game. Time has passed and they learned the game (supposedly) and people expect others to know what to do in their games, and when they make smurfs, they keep that mentality and expect everyone in their matches to do the same thing, regardless of their rank and account level, expecting everyone one in the match to be smurfs themselves.

10+ cs per minute on the 3rd and 4th games is not something a real newbie can achieve (hell, I don't think half the player base can achieve it), not even in co-op vs AI. If you did have your sibling played on your account, then he or she royally screwed up your account because the system detected that you are not a noob so it puts you against other highly skilled or smurfs for the rest of your low level account. I looked at your match history and your cs-ing skill scream smurf or shared account.

If you are a smurf, then you really can't complain being put against other smurfs or high skilled players. If you are a true newbie, then I suggest you create a new account and don't let anyone else play on it.

But your account is not deemed "inexperienced" because either you are a smurf or your sibling played on it and screwed its status.

Yes, because your current account is marked as a smurf and will almost always get matched with other smurfs that usually include toxic banned players. The fault lies partially with whoever played on your account (or if you are a smurf).

leveling experience is horrible since its nothing but permabanned toxic players leveling up new accounts

I always mute at least my lane opponent if I am too lazy to mute all opponents by clicking or "/mute enemy". Try to find one time where what the enemies have to say is not completely useless then think about this solution. As for team mates you are just unlucky, there is almost always 1 insecure incel in your team who believes that whining at you will make you want to win the game for them.

I have to stop my self from raging on players, who don't appear to know what they are doing. I always remind my self that it's just a game.

Actually its not your fault, nor theirs. They want to play a normal, but challenging game, you with your lack of experience ruin it for both teams. And it naturally turns into toxicity.

Just don't take it personal and maybe practice vs bots a bit more. Until Rito fixes the matchmaking this wont change.

Ps.: i've just seen that somebody said you might have shared your account with somebody else. Then please get banned and never come back to this game. Instead of complaining you should learn to read.... (IFF you really shared it.)
