Got 14-day suspension on first punishment. Am I stuck with it forever?

it decays over games played.

If you let the account sit and not play games, it will be there forever. On average, it takes 3 months of playing games to drop a tier. If you play alot of games, it can drop in a month.

You are at 14-day ban, so it'll drop back to a clean slate in 9 months if you play at the average rate.

The punishment tiers are:

Unpunished 10 Game Chat Restriction 25 Game Chat Restriction 14/15 Day Ban Permanent Ban

When a punishment is issued, the system checks where you currently are and applies the next punishment. Encouraging self harm or hate speech normally skips two punishment tiers and on extreme cases three. Other forms of extreme toxicity can skip anywhere from one tier up to three (strait to perm on first punishment).

As you play games regularly and show reform, the punishment tier decreases. It takes between three and six months, depending on your behavior. Right after a punishment the bar for what is considered punishable is lowered for a time. So be on especially good behavior for the first two weeks (and optimally for the rest of your time gaming here).

Some common behaviors to avoid:

Don't ask for people to report other people. One report is all it takes. Asking for reports is a threat to a person's account, and all threats are considered negative.

Don't point out when other people break the rules. One report is all it takes. Report them yourself. Don't create or participate in drama.

Don't publicly state that you're reporting someone. That's a threat to their account.

Don't publicly state that you're muting someone. Mute is there to end a conflict, not to create additional drama.

Don't point out people's KDA unless you're praising them. That information is already available to everyone, so pointing it out is normally used to harass or insult.

Don't ask your team to ff or try to persuade them to ff. That is giving up/demoralizing. Instead, initiate the ff vote. Accept the results. Try your best to win if the vote fails. Start the ff vote again when you can, if it still looks hopeless to you.

Don't threaten to int. That's a threat to the outcome of the game, and all threats are considered negative.

Don't threaten to open your lane. Another threat.

Don't open your lane. Even in the worst games, keep trying to win. I'm not saying that you have to stay in lane when you're getting dove and pushed off of CS or xp. Roam, gank other lanes, put vision in the jg, do something that will help you get into a better position. Mute the people who insult you, report them after.
