High Rise in Trolls and Bots in Low levels and Low Elo.

Ever since the removal of Dominion (and its map) it seems that Summoner's Rift has gotten a rise in trolls, bots, and boosters just looking for a free ride up the ranks meanwhile causing low elo players that are just trying to play to enjoy the game a lot of unnecessary stress and headaches.

and what makes it worse is when they're clearly trolling and feeding and you ask the enemy to report them, the enemy try to protect them and defend his actions as redeemable and sportsman like.

As for the bots, they're running way too rampant in low level games, and its becoming an issue to new players that try to learn and enjoy the game

am i the only one noticing this or is anyone else having the same problems?

Non chat related trolling(and trolling in general has never really needed or involved chat. Riot just doesn't seem to care about people mechanically trolling it seems) for the purposes of baiting seems to be the new norm. I have no way of look statistically at the rate of people who intentionally feed or grief in the myriad of ways you can grief without actually suffering report consequences but I would not be surprised if it's heavily on the side of the trolls for the most part not having to worry.

I agree its a problem, I just barely made it to promo's then got 3 "Troll Games" in a row, First Game don't really remember it much.

Second Game, Toxic players , AFK Jungler, Troll Shyvana who runs in my lane and starts taking all the cs/pushing throwing game hard I didn't report the afk because he wasn't really toxic just our Shyvana arguing and being a in game troll.

Third Game, UDYR who runs into my lane gets the enemy fed, not to mention arguing at champion select I /muteall as soon as game started until after 15 minutes in game by then games over pretty much and all they do is continue to argue instead of accept responsibility for griefing which is the reason I /mute for 15 minutes in the first place.

Its annoying the amount of trolls are bots in Lower Elo is insane, I was getting some decent matches but now its on a decline again.

High rise in trolls - it's been about the same for me, although there are a lot of people who will instantly blame someone else if they die, but it's always been that way

High rise in bots - definitely, the bots are getting better at being undetected, they will now ping and call lane. Because of this people are less likely to report them and it could easily be increasing the amount of bots. Some bots are better than others too.. like Ashe bot and Morg bot seem to do decently sometimes, while Shyvana bot will usually go 0/20 every game

Some obvious signs of being a bot:

Usually go heal/ghost
Repetitive predictable bot-like movement
Not using spells at all or wasting spells consistently (using spells on empty space, or healing while already at full health, etc)
Consistently tower diving and letting the tower hit them multiple times for no reason
Running away from an enemy with low health (like one basic attack left to kill) while their own health is not low
Most but not all bots will go mid, and some will wander lanes, and some really bad ones will glitch and wander around jungle doing nothing at all
Going scores like ( 0/10/1 , 2 cs ) multiple games in a row, very low damage dealt in comparison to teammates

These signs are actually also some signs that the person is a troll... so no matter what reason they're doing it, it deserves reporting. I'm the last person to report someone, but most often it's not even a player but a script controlling their champion. I don't feel bad reporting someone who is basically not even playing the game.

I severely doubt it's gone up.

Since the removal of Dominion, I decided to play again, (pure coincidence,) therefore the amount of games that I play has increased significantly, however, the total number of bots I have encountered has actually gone down.

People need to keep this thread alive, because I've brought this to attention one time before and was told by a Rioter that Bots are not an issue, this was last year sometime. Bots are horrible, I still believe a Captcha of some kind should be mandatory before any match, something simple that all kids/adults can do, but not a program, at least then it requires the "user" to be present when the match starts.

I always play with bots or ai i dont know what is that they just go to die i dont want play anymore i play solo with 4 guys who have default spells and they running and diying and just pushing the lane and turret always kill them enemy team are 1 normal guy and 4 bots who also have default spells summoner 6

This was posted 3months ago, but these past few days all ive been getting in co-op Ai games are bots, I just lost my 2nd AI game! Im getting really irritated because im seeing the same bots over and over and they dont seem to be getting banned. Does Riot not care?

LOOK I think we all encountered them by now. SOLUTION RIOT LET US BLOCK PEOPLE FROM EVEN JOINING OUR QUES.

OK I WONT FLAME riot for now. But I'll just bring this up RIOT what are you doing.

REPORTING THEM DOES NOTHING. YOU NEED TO LET US BLOCK THEM DIRECTLY.

NOW ranked I understand but normal/aram etc? let us BLOCK THEM from our games leave ranked out just so it can be more fair.

there is a block function but it still lets them join our games. how hard is it to implement that?

I will not play with trolls any longer while holding my breath from flaming them in the process we get banned and chat restricted while they get off scott free. good job.
