Riots messed up banning system So today (10-8-2019) I was permanently banned after a few days of my recent 2-week ban. After my 2 weeks, on my mother's grave, I swear to you I had reformed. The reason for my permaban was because I got in a game with two people that happened to began to troll after early game. Now, I understand that toxicity is a big deal and riot does not take it lightly but what I and im sure many other people feel is that they don't seem to understand that toxicity is a two-way street. Or at least in my case, where I began to say "gg this nasus is trolling" because of numerous deaths in toplane. Now I do understand that people have bad games, of course, I do too. However, it comes to a certain point where you die over and over again to the same mistakes where it becomes unbearable and you have to "flame" them. No matter who you are, whether its Tyler1 or Moe or TFblade when someone is trolling and putting your game and ability to have fun at risk you can't contain yourself. Some people release this through physical outbursts such as smashing keyboards, hitting walls, breaking mouses, and some such as myself prefer to get mad at the people wasting my time in the game. I know I'm most likely not going to get my account back but I want to help riot understand that before they start to permaban accounts they need to look more closely as to why people were flaming. Also, I don't really understand why flaming is a problem with people, the way I see it is that if someone is being toxic through chat but is completely fine playing the game getting objectives and doing their job JUST MUTE THEM. Help me a season 3 veteran of league of legends who have been playing more than 5 years say enough to riots unjust system of banning for toxicity when it is clearly not the problem. In conclusion, I was banned because I "flamed" people who ruined my game the game I dearly love by purposely feeding and inting and I want justice served to the real people who ruined that game not me who the person who was toxic to the feeders but the feeders themselves. If you don't believe me look at the game photage (ez adc, NA) of nasus and kai'sa.

Riot Games, I stuck by you through Fortnite, Overwatch, and Apex legends etc. the least you could do is just overview my case

Damn they banned you on my birthday?!?! Fuckers. Thanks Riot. Ruined my birthday.

Anyway, dont speak for me. Ive never been punished before. If what you say is true, every player would be banned because according to you "no matter who you are... you cant contain yourself". Come on man. MOST people CAN contain themselves. Otherwise their rules would be very bad for business, as everyone would be banned like you.

As far as the mute thing, I kind of agree. But for a lot of people, the damage has already been done... thats why you mute. It comes after the offense. The insults dont bother me, but I've seen people troll literally because "when someone is rude to me, they dont deserve to win". So now I gotta lose for sure, because someone else insulted them.

They cant allow players to break the rules just because theyve decided that someone is trolling. I hope you can understand why that would be a complete mess of a system. So instead, they punish it all. Trolling, inting, flaming. They just punish both. And people dont mind (except the ones getting punished) because most people just want to play and dont care how upset you are in game and we get annoyed by kids flaming eachother online in the middle of a game. So dont expect much sympathy from the boards. You can contain yourself. You have the ability. It may not be easy, but you can. If you really cant because of some kind of mental disorder, then I'm sorry for saying you can, and youre just gonna have to disable chat.

After my 2 weeks, on my mother's grave, I swear to you I had reformed.

...I was permanently banned after a few days of my recent 2-week ban.

You had been warned with your two-week ban that any further misbehavior would result in a permanent suspension. That you got one a few days after coming off of that ban is an indicator that you hadn't reformed.

...they don't seem to understand that toxicity is a two-way street.

However, it comes to a certain point where you die over and over again to the same mistakes where it becomes unbearable and you have to "flame" them.

And these excuses are also very good indicators that you hadn't reformed. If you had reformed, you would know that you do not "have" to flame people, and that doing so is unhelpful and unwelcome. Instead, you're trying to excuse your misbehavior by trying to justify it with someone else's misbehavior.

It doesn't matter whether toxicity is a one-way street or a two-way street; if you break the rules, you get punished. No ifs, ands, or buts.

...I want to help riot understand that before they start to permaban accounts they need to look more closely as to why people were flaming.

Other people misbehaving does not, should not, and will not ever give you a free pass to misbehave yourself. Riot can look as closely as the very pixels that make up the screen, and they'll still see the same thing; you were toxic, and your punishment was valid.

Also, I don't really understand why flaming is a problem with people, the way I see it is that if someone is being toxic through chat but is completely fine playing the game getting objectives and doing their job JUST MUTE THEM.

Muting doesn't mitigate the initial damage that causes the player to need to mute. When you start flaming, you automatically damage your team's morale, and muting doesn't magically make that initial damage retroactively just not happen.

On top of that; if you're flaming, you're not playing the game. It doesn't matter if you're a quick typist like me, the time you spend flaming people is time you could be spending playing the game. And the more you focus on flaming other players, the worse you do overall.

All told; flaming is wholly detrimental to the game. It should not be other people's responsibility to mute you - it should be your responsibility to play by the rules you agreed to.

Help me a season 3 veteran of league of legends who have been playing more than 5 years say enough to riots unjust system of banning for toxicity when it is clearly not the problem.

There is no definitive "the" problem. There is simply problems; plural. Chat toxicity and gameplay toxicity are both problems, and both get dealt with.

...and I want justice served to the real people who ruined that game not me who the person who was toxic to the feeders but the feeders themselves.

If you reported them, then justice will be served. You are not the arbiter of justice, and your punishment is part and parcel with justice. At the end of the day, you agreed to rules that said you're not allowed to flame period. When you break those rules, you get punished. That is in no way a surprise.
