Ban and questions

So my account got perma banned for "the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client." But the problem is that well, the account that was given for the ban is not the account I use, nor have I ever seen it before. It tells me that it was this other account is banned, but my account, which has a different name, is banned. I always thought that you couldn't connect more than one account to an email. I sent a message to riot support but they have been no help as of now. I was wondering if someone else has had this happen and can explain to my what is going on.
