Question about the reasons behind my chat restriction

Recently, I had a player in my game who was autofilled ADC. He asked repeatedly to play top, but the toplaner refused. He picked Lucian and went 2/8, losing lane hard. I didn't flame him simply for having a bad game, I have those all the time even when I get the role I want. My anger started when he started blaming the support and the rest of us. He said that if he were top, we would have won already. I will admit freely that I regret the intensity of the words I used. However, I felt that he was being unfair to my teammates who were trying their best. Finally, he announced that he was running down mid, which only served to increase my frustration.

In conclusion, I am not trying to fight this punishment. Reading the chat logs was a wake up call that I needed to check myself before pressing enter and I will take this to heart. However, I have seen rioters in the past say things like "worst___ ever," (I won't link anything because of witch hunt rule, but I can if asked) which leads me to think that this is an issue of profanity. I'd love to know what you guys think. I am already determined to change my language in game, what do you guys think is the worst part of what I did? the profanity itself or the flame of someone who started inting?

P.S. I'd love for a rioter to post my logs as I don't know where to find them.

Thanks for your time

you can fucking swear the shit out of your fucking game and you won't be fucking chat restricted. Only when you turn said fuck toward your teammate like "fuck you" will it be counted as toxicity. At which point, it is not profanity, but pure flame. Profanity alone will never be punishable.

Idk. I just go by the rules. Whatever rule you broke is the worst part. And they dont punish for profanity (like shit, fuck, damn, bitch, ass), its more how you use the profanity.

"Fuck you" not okay. "Fuck!" Okay.

Its not about morals or anything. Its about stopping toxicity to increase their playerbase. Riot is a company under capitalism, which is driven by profit. Profit mostly comes from the playerbase. So i wouldnt think of it as "what is the worst thing I did", just think of it as "what rules did I break?" And leave it at that. Dont let riots rules brainwash you. Theyre not your moral compass.

The level of toxicity is determined not only by the severity of a phrase but the consistency of the behavior. Saying a couple toxic lines such as "you're trash" in one game isn't going to get you punished. Using those lines a couple times a game for multiple games will. As will spending a large part of a lot flaming.

Rioters are not perfect. They're human. They may get mad and let a mildly toxic comment slip out. Find me a single player that has never said anything less than perfectly nice in game. The difference is they do it only rarely and it is truly a slip, not an attitude problem present in many of their games

Could people stop using "inting" if they aren't intentionally feeding? The word has lost all meaning.
