In-Game Recorder for Reporting

I got my idea from the idea that the police now have to wear cameras so the court can see what truly happened.

I was thinking maybe we could get a button that allows us to record scripters or griefers (intentionally walking into lane 20 times with no items, or knockback supports intentionally knocking away jungle camp at level 1 to reset their junglers farm).

It could maybe record up to 5 minutes of footage and then when you open up a Report Interface at the end of the game for a certain player, the footage will be there to doubleclick as an attachment with the report.

I know reports are only case-by-case manual reviews and reporting scripters takes months before they get banned as scarra mentioned in one of his old videos on youtube. This is a step forward in my opinion.

Let the tribunal see 1-5min footage which includes chatlog and gameplay which purely captures potential griefers, ragequits, and scripters.

The footage in the report interface can be like a Drag-n-drop for attaching. This way it'll stop many potential scripters.

I was motivated to make this post because I encountered a scripter earlier who openly admitted to using it in allchat and then said "It's ok, a new account is 23$ and I have a job" when confronted about it. Adding recorded footage will help players determine the fate of griefers in the way CS:GO has a replay tribunal system called Overwatch.

We need the tribunal back, this automated system doesn't do a thing to people like these. A video recorder would be much more effective than a screenshot too.

You could download Overwolf (I am under the impression Riot has approved Overwolf if not feel free to delete this post as I am not trying to push illegal 3rd party programs.)

This can record every game though easily.

A few minutes of gameplay out of context is not necessarily useful. Keep in mind if a troll were to steal your camp, if you stole the camp they're doing, they could conveniently only record that and you would look bad out of context. Also, stealing camps, taxing excessively, and other things that hinder your team's ability to win does not necessarily fall under the category of trolling. It's rude but the line is too grey to say "this is right" and "this is wrong."

This automated shit system for banning got my buddies account banned for scripting, Salty players reported him at the end of the game and he got banned. He tried to appeal to the case but the Riot Employee he contacted said there was no appeal process for scripting. I know for a fact that he does not script whatsoever, I have literally seen his computer and all the files on there because I Built Him the Damn Machine!! He's been playing League since Season 1 maybe before while it was in the alpha/beta stages overall his account was worth over $2k easily having many of the coveted old skins like Pax Jax/TF/Sivir, Riot Nasus, and more rare limited edition skins from back then. So now that is a $2k account lost and he ends up with absolutely nothing for all the time and effort he has put into the game, his skill level easily puts him in mid-diamond tier perhaps even masters but because of his constraints (school and life in general) he forgoes the climb to have fun with his friends and keep his life in check. I applaud Riot Games, you fucked up hard without having any evidence to back-up claims from other players and for that you lost one of your long time players.

Isn't Replay.GG a thing though?
