The honor punishment is too harsh

I was banned for 2 weeks, which was totally deserved. However, this was 4 months ago, and right now I am at 2/3 of Honor 0. That's an average of one checkpoint per 2 months, which means I would still need checkpoint 3 of 0, 1 of 1, 2 of 1, 3 of 1, and finally the first of 2. Going by how long it took for the first two checkpoints, this would mean the remaining 5 checkpoints would take 10 more months to complete, just to get back to good standing.

I don't have time to grind out dozens of games a day anymore, which is probably why it's taking so long. But 14 months just to get back to Honor 2 is just way too discouraging. In that time I could easily make a new smurf or two and get all the champions I currently have on this account and more.

How long did it take for you guys to get back to Honor 2 from 0?
