Is there a way to stop it from happening? I am in ranked numerous times, a player has 0 points in the champ and goes 9/1/10. BULLSHIT. Ruins it for all.

Then look up that guy at OP.GG and pretty close to 100% of the time you'll see that he's duoing with and boosting someone.

I'm surprised Rito didn't put the kibosh on those flippable cards when they realized how easy it'd be to spot smurfs and prove that it really is happening ALL THE TIME. Or did they seriously not even think of that?

Not really unfortunately. Smurfs are one of my biggest gripes across all of matchmade competitive games, but there's not a whole lot you can do. Just see what they were doing right, take notes, learn from it, and move on.

"Smurfs" are right where they belong, at the bottom of the heap bullying the little kids, because they're just too toxic or can't hack playing against peers.

Eh, I think that is mostly thanks to the Positional Ranked System right now, since on EUNE I rarely encounter actual smurfs.
