Restricting System - Is it fair?

Hi everyone,

I am curious about your opinions on the League of Legends reform card system. I've been muted for 25 games and I'm actually starting to wonder if this system just doesn't work.

From my experience with League of Legends; Talking gets you banned period. No matter if its positive or negative, if you talk enough you get muted and banned.

Now you could argue that you shouldn't write as much but focus on the game instead, well let me prove to you that I've been muted based on winning games where I am positive I did not flame or behave negatively in such a way that it affected other people. If anything in one of the examples we won a game because I tried to glue the team spirit back together while others were spamming surrender flaming each other.

I'll happily share the 25-game chat restriction proof that I was offered. Also to battle the argument that I should focus on the game, I have added the screenshots with the final stats of the game so you can't argue that I did not play or whatsoever, I type quickly and I only type when I'm either waiting for a respawn or walking to lane.)

Yes it is fair as it judges each person for their own actions. Doesn't matter if Bob was worse. Doesn't matter if Sally played poorly. If you behave poorly, you will only be judged for your actions.

It is fair, it judges everyone independently on the same formula of punishment =consistency x severity. Everyone gets the same treatment regardless if they are a big streamer pro player or a nobody Joe starting fresh.

When people complain about the system punishing them for nothing, it's typically they don't understand how the system works and don't understand what is considered toxic.

In the two games you showed here, you accused others of trolling in both games and threatened for reports in the first game. Both of those actions are considered harassment, while minor in severity, it still is considered toxic. So when you do that oftenly, you will eventually get a punishment.

The system works. It's in place to protect the rest of us from people who derail the game with chat instead of using it constructively. You do that. A lot. Take this as your final chat restriction warning, because your next step is a 14-day suspension.

Don't ever, ever, ever, EVER EVER EVER tell anyone that you're in promos. It will never help you win. Ever. Your teammates or opponents don't need to know and don't care what kind of game this is for you. Play it as any other game and don't put that on them.

I can see a few things in the second screenshot you posted the IFS is likely to pick up and punish you for. While along saying "im going to report this galio" wont get you punished, if you have been punished in the past and or toxic enough your punishment level is up there (imagine everyone has a secret level bar under the one on their profile that only the IFS can see. Its how it distributes punishments). So its likely a few little things here and there have added up to this 25 g chat restriction.

Accusing players of trolling, calling them toxic, threatening reports. All negative things to say that helps no one and only antagonizes the person youre saying it to. Those three things are against the rules. Just stop doing that, and youre golden! Everything else looks fine, so if you drop that habit, your account will be safe forever. Good luck!
