I realize I'm not perfect, but is this punishment justified?

I didn't swear at anyone or get verbally abusive. We had trolls who would feed and not ff bc they were tilted. Top laner was on caps lock and flaming the team the entire game with tons of verbal abuse, worst i've seen in a while, including telling the jng to go kill himself.

I realize I am not perfect, but please tell me how this is worth a 14 day ban? If we can't comment on playing at all, then why even have a chat system? I challenged the troll to a 1v1 and said I bet he was much worse than I. That is hardly abusive, but rather an opinion. I didn't say I was far better than him, just that he was worse than I. The other team knew the game was a waste of time and asked us to ff. I said they were feeder and trolls who wouldn't quit. Again, hardly abusive. Just stating the facts. We had both and the players knew it.

If this is what league has come to then this is ridiculous. I see trolls in almost every game and reports go ignored even though they were verbally abusive. So, please, tell me how this is so bad as to merit a 14-day ban. Could I have been nicer, sure, but it's not like I was the troll...

It's less about swearing (though using the really bad words will automatically get you in trouble).
It's about the VOLUME of text more than anything else.

Saying one thing, assuming it's not a really bad swear word, won't get you in trouble. Writing enough for someone to see a chunk of text = probably bad.

Unless you're talking about something nice, the system is probably going to assume you were flaming/being toxic.

If you didn't know riot has a system that will autoban if you you say certain words or phrases and someone reports you. My guess is the "kys" was detected so that plus at least 2 reports and they got you outta here. That or this is repeated behaviour.

Because what you did isn’t commenting on the game and playing, it’s abusing other players, plain and simple.

I’m also presuming you’ve had chat restrictions, which clearly said you would receive harsher punishments if you keep misbehaving.

You're pretty fucking whiny and annoying, players like you are why having chat muted makes for more enjoyable games. Definitely seems bad enough for at least chat restriction, if you've already got those and still whine like this, well you've only got yourself to blame.

i don't believe you should've got a ban. but if you want my advice :

just stop using the chat lmao, it's rlly not that hard mate. i usually end up muting chat anyways, people that are actually good at the game also advise other players in low elo like you and me to mute the chat since nobody has anything relevant to say. only use the chat when shot calling or something... thats if they dont have you muted already so start using pings bro but don't start spamming missing pings at your jungler like one of those neanderthals or some shit so your pings don't get muted too. anyone that is insulting you, mute them and report after the game. i sometimes consider myself a toxic %%%% and my account has been banned twice for telling players to get cancer or some shit but ever since i've stopped using the chat i've never got a chat restriction or a ban plus my main acc was honor lvl 5 last season. the only time i used chat was to make calls, compliment other players or try to encourage players that are losing lane to play safe and not give up. everything negative i have to say almost never goes in chat anymore.

out of that whole chat log you posted, there was only one thing you posted that was relevant to the game. i would've had your ass muted that game.

Honestly, deserved. Telling the enemy to report your allies in all chat basically means you gave up on the game. Also it's just stupid and I'm 99% sure you're lying.

Just ignore these guys. You got report not because you did bad thing. You got report because people didn't like you. Riot report system doesn't check what you said during the game. It checks how many people have reported you. I got ban right after game ended. Literally in 2 sec. I didn't say any bad word. Only negative thing I said is, you did bad why didn't you use e to our jg instead of enemy jungle? and I got 14 days ban. I'm pretty sure if you type something and people report you, you get punishment. And riot won't change it because they don't care about you quit or not. Don't you agree? You don't remove your punishment.
