Just My Opinion

Hey LoL Forums,

I have an opinion some people may not like but I think this is something that should be added when resulting in how Riot goes by the whole punishment system. I wonder why if Riot really doesn't like toxic players in their game then why do they give them 4 chances to reform?

I can say this first hand that the first few warnings don't really make someone want to reform, it is just like "ok I got a warning, big whoop" but then when you get to the 14 day or 2 week suspension then things start to get serious. That is when players start to worry about their accounts, but eventually they forget about it, and that's what happened to me.

After one terrible game I flamed the CRAP out of a few toxic kids and got hit with the permanent ban, do i deserve it yeah sure whatever, but I personally think for one last chance you should be able to make an appeal to the Riot support team and ask for one last chance and if you break that one then you are gone for good.

People don't really want to change until their account was actually taken from them or that's at least how it was for me and I think every one deserves another chance.

Please be understanding in the comments we are all human and bound to have bad days.

-Thanks Rengar

Riot could stop toxicity in a day if they want by disabling chat, but there's too much $$ in banning people. Since no one really quits this game due to its addictive nature, banned players make new accounts, buy boosts and then have to buy their champions back, which gives Riot tons of cash.

The current system isn't consistent, doesn't punish people fast enough and prioritizes things said on chat over everything else.

That line's pretty different for everyone, I think. Some people never get close to getting a punishment. Some people happily level up multiple accounts because they feel entitled to be toxic. Some people aren't aware of LoL's cultural standards, and the first time they get a warning, they learn what's okay and what's not okay.

You only go straight to the permaban if you're really far below community standards. That means almost everyone gets a second chance after account suspension (from the 2-week ban). Unless you mean "unlimited additional chances", of course. And if that's what you mean, then you're generally free to create additional accounts.
