Why did i get banned? And everyone is suddenly getting banned?

So, i was playing League of Legends on my main acount (this one), and i logged out to check one thing on my smurf. When i logged back in on my main acount, it said i got a 14 day suspension for "bad discipline" or something like that. What it said basically is that my behaviour in chat wasn't acceptable, and then proceeded to show me the chat log of the game i was supposedly "toxic". The thing is that i wasnt no where close to being toxic in that game, in fact i took screenshots of the whole chat log so someone can tell me what i did wrong. My concern is that i will most likely not get a response, or Riot will make up some excuse for the suspension. The problem here is that i lost all access to free rewards ( chests, key fragments, i suppose) despite the 14 day suspension, and that is just tottaly unfair. Next i will link up the full chat log Riot sent me on the notice, so it is open for debate. It only shows my log, not the full chat, so somethings might look out of context (that's Riot's fault, not mine). Well, i hope i get a response, since the i dont get responded to support tickets and last time i approached Riot on the boards concerning a ban, by post got deleted.

The word "die" was repeated a lot of times which probably trigged the report. That's not ban worthy imo. I'm not even sure that's actually flaming.

Arguing with teammates, KDA shaming, berating them for dying, etc.

If someone's flaming you or being unsportsmanlike, mute them from the outset. Don't bicker with them, don't flame them back, don't insult them or try to point out how unsportsmanlike they are - mute them.

Since this is a 14-day ban, I'm gonna guess you recently came off of a 25-game Chat Restriction. If that's the case...Again; learn not to argue with your teammates and just mute them if they're being assholes.

This... Is not toxic whatsoever. No swear words, insulting peoples' mothers, or accusations of the other person having down syndrome or autism. And that guy was clearly being a huge ass, hope he got banned too :l

Riot has no idea how to combat toxic behavior or find ways to improve the environment of their community. So what they do is mass bans and hope for the best. They have psychologists and even separate booths at events dedicated to this. They're going the way of Youtube and just putting a bandaid on everything by avoiding taking responsibility that they have no clue how to deal with things in a positive way.

Yes, you were harsh with your words here and there, kinda scolding the player? But still, if they are that sensitive to such language, damn... I wonder how will they survive in the real world? O.o

Anyways, we can't really know if these are all of your logs.. and even if they probably are, we anyways can't do anything I guess you can only poke the support until they yield? xd

This new autoban system does more harm than help. I had a team of friends including me who were all reported by the enemy, and now we all have a 14 day suspension. We were reported of HACKING and being ABUSIVE. Fuck this system

Honestly from my opinion this chat log is not toxic. He is merely defending himself in a mostly harmless way which is to point out that he is not the only one making mistakes in the game

I forget the term people like Heralds/Advisors use, but it's on the matter of "You're on the borderline", and this game happened to trigger the ban. The banning system is on a point like system, so every report held against you if it's legitimate, is going to tally up. I've been banned before for saying "can you knock it off with the toxicity" because it has signs of negativity there, even though it's a mild case.

Everything you say or do will be held against you, so I'm just saying that it's better not to talk at all. I know that sucks and I know you're tired of hearing this, but /mute all is your best bet to remain unbanned.

The IFS might have given you the wrong chat logs. This doesn't seem like a 14 day temp ban worthy chat log if you've never had chat restrictions in the past. Open a support ticket and POLITELY ask a player behavior specialist.

If you get all flamey and ragey on the forums about this, they're going to lock your post or if you do it with the player behavior specialist, they're going to leave the punishment as is because you're being rude and improper with the Riot staff.

I sweat that because I'm a Rivenmain i'll just get reported for existing, i don't think I've said more than 3 words an entire game, only Pings for MIA and OMW along side some hey there's wards.

This is definitely not ban worthy.

Maybe a friendly reminder along the lines of "Congratulations, you remembered to make use of the mute feature - hopefully the game was more enjoyable for you without the distraction. Our only advice would be to try and make a habit of muting offensive players sooner, since rising to them and arguing in chat is disruptive to other players and they might not spend to the time to understand what's going on."

... and I'm joking, of course. I've had much worse outbursts in situations where the straw broke the camel's back. Sometimes it's just too difficult to ignore the assholeish of assholes. Sometimes it's cathartic for you to let out a little steam before muting them.

14 day ban seems... like you've already been punished before, though? Isn't it usually a chat ban, first?
