So you are upset, because you don't understand the system. Players telling you that does not mean Riot promotes suicide.

As for you being banned, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you repeated the stuff. Something like "x told me to kys" and "y called me a %%% and said kys". Which if reported looks like you said it (which you technically did by repeating). If you reported then in the post game lobby, their chat will also be reviewed.

More accurately, "I'm very upset that I'm being punished for retaliating against most foul behavior." Which is very reasonable. You're exaggerating a lot, but the truth behind your statements is that "League of Legends tolerates individuals who make suicide promoting comments while not abiding it" and "League of Legends does not abide defending yourself".

Of course people will say they DON'T tolerate it, but here's the hard fact: League does not ban people, they ban accounts, and this haphazard approach is resulting in cases like this. Is CheeseParty2 a reasonable person? Looks like he has issues being reasonable, but I'll keep criticizing the system for being insufficient in protecting people from harassment like this and expecting them to take it contentedly in stride in accordance with the rules.

Yes, I do have ideas to improve the system, but you moderators have called it spam to say as much. Disgusting.

Well since you're repeating what happened here with more swearing I'm gonna go out on a limp and guess you were swearing yourself within the chat which is bannable. Rito likes to adopt the policy, "If you have nothing nice to say then don't say it," for both sides. The attacker and victim which is an understandable approach because they expect everyone to be kind to one another no matter the circumstance. You can't flame back because that just puts you to their level and honestly your team doesn't want to, or care to, listen to your arguments and just want to play the game. You engaging in a flame war is further disrupting the game for everyone else. Those are the rules and you failed to follow them. Simple enough.
