riot creating a more toxic environment

This is personal opinion to make it clear.

I have been playing this game since the end of season 1, i have had my first account banned two years ago and have noticed a serious trend in this community not to say that it wasnt my fault my account was banned because it was, but since the proliferation of permanent bans and increased punishment the game has become less about team work and more about enraging other players to a point where they will be banned with out getting yourself banned. i have been guilty of this, people i play with have been guilty of this, and my first account was the result of the receiving end of this. Since permanent bans have become more common the community has not gotten better in fact i would go as far as to say it has become much worse. I dont think i have played a game in years that was not completely riddled with toxic players. i dont know if any one agrees with this but this is just what i have noticed.

Neither the punishment tiers nor the rules have significantly changed in seasons. The rules applied now, and the punishment escalation, are the same as when Tribunal existed.

There is a common factor in all those games...

I have played since around middle of Season 3. I have not noticed any increase or decrease in toxicities in any Season. Obviously I have played with many, many trolls, flamers, afk, inter, etc., but they are rare. I have played all game modes (RIP Dominion). Most everyone will have win rates between 40-60% over vast amount of games (and I have played thousands and thousands of games). I am not bothered by trolls, inter, afk, flamer. They are simply part of my 40-60% loss rate. Mute, report, move on.

Riot has been slow to action and slow to learn. Opinion.

For example, Riot did some experimentation with infinite chat restrictions. Riot claims that lead to more game play offenses. Well, a permanent ban is a more severe infinite chat restriction. Toxic people are going to create new accounts and commit game play offenses instead of chat offenses. Except now, the system just thinks they are a "new player" that is just having "bad games". The system will even return their honor rewards faster than if they were allowed to reform on their banned account. It's all the bad things of infinite chat restriction with even more bad added on.
