The Singed support fiasco

I was always sceptical about it, but people on this boards were right. All this talk how number of report s doesn't matter was just bulshit. The Singed support player was banned based on big number of reports he got. Thank you Rito, we now know that our accounts are never safe from your ban hammer even if we done nothing wrong.I also know that I will not buy another skin...ever. PS: Just joking, I never bought RP in my life, I only occasionally buy certain things that are level 30 from certain cites(15 bucks) ; )

He wasn't banned because of the big number of reports he got. The number of reports got Riot's attention to look at the issue manually and deal with it accordingly. Do they factor in the amount of reports in assessing whether or not he was creating a negative experience? Probably. But it's not the only factor. And to be clear: They were talking about hundreds of games. At that point I think it's easy to say whether or not the negative experience he created is statistically significant.

Also: "The number of reports don't matter" is usually not exactly what people mean. The argument "the number of reports per game don't matter" is one that gets used more frequently, and I'm fairly certain it applies here, too. Again, he received reports in hundreds of games. If I had to guess I'd say that's what brought the case to Riot's attention, not the amount of reports per game.

He was banned because he was being a bully to others. By forcing the role and style down the throats of others. Pure and simple.

I love how many toxic players are looking for excuses to flame riot for any case.

"I didn't really read anything but I just KNOW that riot is being unfair!!!"

No, he was banned for refusing to communicate with his team. He wasn't playing as a support. He was roaming the enemy jungle. He wasn't helping in the slightest.

That's not correct and you're using a false argument.

Number of reports in 1 game don't matter. 1 report in 1 game or 9 reports in 1 game still JUST flag that ONE game for review. When they say it's multiple reports it means multiple games in which they're reported which showed consistently negative behavior. That's how it's always has been and is how most people receive penalties.

Dont bother the mouthbreathers will downvote you into the dirt, because they are mad at the copycats and dont realize the original player is a shining example of the summoner's code.
