Bronze Attitudes

I'm level 39 and in Bronze I (don't play much). I don't know if higher ranks are any better, but every game I play in my teammates are always blaming each other for everything. This last game I played in Ranked I played top Garen, the least amount of deaths on my team and yet the support was determined to blame me for the entire game going wrong. This is with bot lane having over half the deaths on our team. Now I admit I got bullied out of lane rather well, but there is no reason to be so rude and condescending (especially when you yourself have a lot to improve on). It seems every Ranked game is like this, which demoralizes me in playing Ranked if at all. Blind tends to be okay, Draft is eh, but Ranked is horrid. Are higher tiers any better? Or should I just pick a game with decent human beings behind the screens?

I have accounts in Bronze, Silver, and Gold, and I can tell you it's exactly the same in all of them.

There is no mainstream game with "decent human being behind the screens". There are toxic people on the internet, and any mainstream game is going to have those people on it eventually.
It's just because it's a lot easier to say "We would've won if my team mate wasn't bad" than to admit "I really messed up this game, I should improve myself".

It gets SLIGHTLY better the higher you go (which I'm only silver 1 so Im not even that much higher than you tbh) but I imagine at every elo there will be self entitled people. Some people like to just mute all straight up, but I prefer to do it case by case with a no tolerance policy. As soon as someone starts spouting useless shit and showing they aren't going to say anything worthwhile, instant mute. Works pretty well.

Yeah all Ranks are pretty much the same.

I can assure you this is standard through at least mid-Gold, where I play. Every post game lobby one team or the other "jungle difference" or "mid difference" or whatever. Blaming others.

The most interesting part is it's usually the worst teammate, like a 2-12 Katarina, saying that kind of thing. Look at your own performance fam.

I feel it's like that every game. Some people just can't deal with the fact that they're the problem, I guess.

But if that bothers you so much, why don't you just mute them, or remove chat altogether ?
