A player telling me to commit suicide

Hi, So after a game I lost a player on my team by the name of "<Removed by Moderation>" messages me telling me to "slit my throat." I am assuming he thought it was fine to say since it was a private message, but I feel if he is doing this to me he is doing it to other players as well when things aren't going his way. I would love to see this toxicity be taken out of the game. I have a few friends that have committed suicide and it very disheartening someone would suggest such a heinous act.

I have removed the picture and the username as per the "no naming and shaming" rule, While we do not condone what the player has said this is not the best place to report someone and does break the rules. If you want to report the player submit a support ticket here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

If you would have any questions or concerns about this action please visit us at the boards moderation discord or feel free to post in discuss the boards. Thank you

So your FRIEND said something mean to you and you want Rito to do something in your FRIENDSHIP? I think you have the way to handle this, you should chose your FRIENDS more carefully ;) Sometimes i joke with my FRIENDS the same way, i don't see anything wrong with this between FRIENDS!

Ps.: If anyone lacked the mental ability to find out why i call him a friend, is because the guy mentioned he got this in PM, which means he must have added the other guy as FRIEND.

Literally happens all the time. A lot of the people in the LoL community are just straight up ruthless.

first of all why would you accept his FR, RIOT has said they dont (and shouldn't imo) police PM's

2nd I'd remove the username, no name and shame on the forums

It seems Riot has struggled with finding the right path in dealing with toxicity within their community. I would love to tell you that this is a rare case and you won't see it again, but that probably just isn't true.

I am sorry that suicide has impacted you personally. I would advise you to unfriend or mute people as often as needed in order to not allow their negativity into your life.

This is coming from someone who just got permanently banned... https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/MWYt4M6R-agree-with-permanent-ban?comment=0003000000010000

I don't really have anything to gain from posting this, except hopefully having a positive impact on your life and providing you with some encouragement you to keep having fun on your League journey.
