How tilting got me 2 chat restrictions

Hey all, so before I start I'd like to clarify that "just don't rage" is not the right answer to this and that you shoudln't waste your time reading this if you're tired of people complaining about the tribunal. So I restarted climbing (and playing League in general) about 2 months ago and have climbed from Silver IV to Gold III thanks to my Nasus (he is actually not that easy to play, try winning a matchup against an aggressive Jax/Camille/Fiora who know what they're doing). Those were fair wins with equally skilled teams, which required cunning and quick thinking to win. Here's the problem. If you do embark on a winning streak, the system will give you a streak of games where you have to cope with players which are way worse than you. This is the whole point of tilting; the intention is to punish you by giving you teammates way worse than you to see if you can carry them. Here's the problem: In a game like Leauge of Legends, skill level is tied to behaviour. So teammates who are bad are automatically more prone to raging/bad behaviour. The problem here does not lie in the game itself, but goes much deeper. It is deeply engrained into Humans to be mad when our expectations are not met, which is the case when you are deprived from your routinely average teams and get these terrible players, OR when we feel threatened which just so happens to also be the case when you go into tilt, as you are forced to play a game you know you're going to lose just as your lp is 0 and you're about to drop from that division you worked so hard to get into. In fact, this reminds me I have actually dropped to Gold IV before writing this thanks to an Ashe which ragequitted twice and whose performance was, as usual, worse than average, which also goes for the rest of the team, as well as a flaming Kayn. Finally, as if it wasn't already bad enough as is, these people will report you for no reason and for a reason unknown to me, asking the enemy team to report a team member who flames in all chat only gets you reported.

For me this is when you really can say that it's your team's fault the game was lost the game. Folks, this is worse than Bronze. In fact it's Bronze V on steroids, except this is in gold 3 and op.gg ranks your elo as being "slightly higher than average".

Going into conclusion, I simply want to ask for a tribunal which accepts humans as we are especially when this is a game whose main demographic are males between the age of 13 and 24 who are obviously more frustrated than say, a 60 year old man or a 12 year old girl. Also, League wants to consider itself an e-sport (which it rightly is) altough sports are a source of anger, which League won't accept the slightest forms of.

Also, to let you all know; Yes, I am mad while writing this, and I am also guilty for the 2 chat restrictions mentioned in title, although I have since stopped flaming altogether not wanting to get banned and am on my 11th game or so since chat restriction and haven't flamed once yet, only pinging savagely once after my midlaner essencialy ran it down mid. I am communicating with my team in a positive way though, neutral if they're flaming.

If you think League is alone in expecting people to be sportsmanlike, look at any sport out there (except maybe hockey). Flipping people off? You're gonna get in trouble. Excessively cursing? Yep, you'll be out of the game. You start berating people for their performance? Yeah, you'll be gone for that too, whether you're coach or player, and it leads to consequences for many involved.

League isn't alone. Sports allow competitive BS. So does League. You want to jeer the enemy by flashing laughter/mastery at them and saying "nice flash" after they fail a disengage? Yeah, go right ahead. You want to joke with your teammate about their flash being broken after they tried getting over a wall and failed? Go ahead. You won't get punished for mild competitive shitting around.

You want to start berating your teammates for their poor performance in the game? Nope. You want to constantly harass people over mistakes they've made, instead of discussing the path forward to victory? Nope, not allowed. There's a time when it turns from 'competitive BSing' into flaming and once it does that, you've crossed the line. Yes, people are humans. However, humans generally expect each other to treat each other with dignity and respect. Being behind a screen does not absolve you of this societal responsibility to be respectful towards others.
