Reasonable for Permaban? Thoughts, please

I admit that I can be a bit of a trash talker (USMC Vet here) and it comes with the territory. I will say that I dont use slanderous/racial/homophobic terms during game or period. After my 14 day suspension, I made it a habit of muting people when they became super toxic or kill them kindness. I also made it a point to try to come to the defense of others when they were being flamed. From my internet research, arguing tends to be the reason people get banned. I will post the chat logs and then what I think. Mind you, there is little context as you can only see one side but I implore you to trust that those were, in fact, flaming others, cursing, and using homophobic slurs.

My account, DeadEnough13(Spooge Hurricane) was banned for being inappropriate during play. I have had numerous people look at the chat logs of what I was reported for (and with minimal context) felt that my account being banned was not warranted. If a full context is taken into account, I was being polite for the majority in asking players to play safe and smart. When being flamed in game, I only responded in a way that is mature and that of being an adult. 

Game 1: Varus was being extremely toxic to which I muted him. The only egregious thing I said was "morons" and that was NOT directed at my team. In fact, I misspelled and meant for it to be directed at me as in "moron".

Game 2: Blitzcrank was griefing players and saying how "sucky" we were for being in silver. I defended Annie (the person who was the target from Blitzcrank) and defended others on the team. In fact, I didnt say anything wrong in that game whatsoever. 

Game 3: I asked Karma to play safe and she flamed me all game. asking her to play safe for the betterment of the team is not reportable, in my opinion. In fact, her flaming me and the way I took it in stride is a good example of someone keeping there cool.

I feel that these were just common conversations between players in a highly competitive game. If you do not want your players to communicate (when aggressiveness comes into play) then there should be a way to disable chat from the options screen. Being a competitive game, some trash talk is expected as it is in any sport across the world.

I did not use any profanity at any time nor did I call out a player for being terrible at this game nor did I flame anyone. There was some frustration to some people flaming others and being mean during play which I felt warranted a response to let them know it is not wanted.

I would like for my account to be unsuspended due to the fact that this was unfairly judged.

If my account is not unsuspended, I would like for any monies I spent to be refunded to me. I use my money for a game I love to play even though there are people who make this game toxic. If possible, I would like my account activated or at the very least, refunded my money spent on the game. Thank you.

I feel that this wasnt that egregious and there are manyy others who have done way worse. This new system they have in play just is not the same as in the past during season 3/4

SIDE NOTE

If Riot would show the amount of games where I was EXTREMLEY helpful/positive when being flamed, it would be significantly skewed in the positive direction. I literally started saying PLEASE/Thank you/etc since the 14 day suspension in order to correct my behavior. Note that I didnt say anything really wrong in these 3 games.

(I do take responsibility of any excitement or sports behavior I exhibit. I did play sports and some trash talking is expected. I am not perfect but I am human)

Your logs aren't too bad, honestly, but it's just toxic enough to trip the system after a 14 day.

You got a 14 day ban and were told it was your last chance to reform.

Not even gonna read your logs. Also a USMC vet and I cuss and rage when people do dumb shit too, IRL, not in game. If youve been permabanned that means youve gotten MULTIPLE temp bans and chat restrictions and didnt learn your lesson. Whatever logs you posted are the most tame ones from all your multiple bans. My Marine brother duo has had 4 accounts permabanned because hes just that toxic (he also got ninja punchd and court martialed lol). All deserved, now that its cost him like $1500 in RP he has finally reformed and doesnt chat. Youll learn eventually or you'll quit playing. We are supposed to be the best America has to offer. How bout you act like it and stop being a piece of shit and fix yourself. Mute all every game and play.

Nothing chat related deserves a ban. The logs aren't necessary. Your two options are and always will be:

  1. Don't type.
  2. Type, and risk getting banned if you offend anybody.

Most permas are not reasonable given the content ... Until you consider that it's a tiered system. The perma is usually for displaying the pattern, not the individual game.

Of course not, but because you were already banned for 14 days, you chat doesn't have to be "permaban worthy". Anything that is punishable will get you perma'd at that point. The IFS does not use context.

You simply cannot talk in this game, why do you think people are trying to write scripts to chat restrict people... thats not because most people are toxic, its because the system is too harsh.... YOU SIMPLY CANNOT SPEAK AT ALL

ANYTHING YOU SAY can be taken as being toxic, you can say ''have a nice day'' and it might be sarcastic to the guy who will report you then you get banned for ANYTHING you might have said wrong in your chat, even if it was jokes, even you simply HAD ONE GAME were you were mad.. this is stupid.. Riot wont do anything about this, because there is a bunch OF SJWS on the forums, honestly look like they are hired by riot... to make it look like its ok to ban people for chat related issue, these people are crazy..

Yeah thats shitty. Riot are just a bunch of money grabbing whores now anyways. They dont cater to the average joes players anymore only to the high diamond and challenger and pros anymore. I have had 2 accounts permabanned now for doing basically the same exact thing you did. I would't hold my breath on getting your money back. They told me no on both accounts. One account i had since season 1 and the other since season 4. I got a chat ban for 7 days and then instantly permabanned because i did what you did and told my teammate to stop inting.

This companys a load of shit they have purposely made the game more toxic and ban you for basically anything cause there greedy as fuck best way to not get banned is be passive aggressive like telling people nice play dude after they lose lane or something there system is such garbage its easy to be the biggest troll in this game and bait people into being banned as long as you focus on getting others banned in a passive aggressive way you will like never get banned .

One thing that you need to know is that at some point riot must have been secretly sued by a parent or something or gotten #metoo'd because at least in terms of this season, way more people are getting chat restricted and banned than ever before. They tightened the system like you wouldn't believe, you can get a chat restriction in may(like i did) and lose your entirety's season rewards because you simply complained, that two people in two consecutive games were literally suiciding in the enemy jungle to force a loss.

If you should choose to play again, adopt a never speak to anyone method ever again, or don't play again. Other people will get you banned regardless of your chat.

I know a friend who lost his whole account for something less offensive than this. He spent over 200 on skins and stuff. From that point on he has refused to spend another dime on anything riot related.

Dude, if it's true what you say of being ex USMC, you should know what code of conduct is. You should know what rules are.. And, even more so, you should know what repercussions are.

It takes a lot for someone to get 2-week banned in the first place, for someone to STILL be toxic right after that and get permabanned, it just shows what kind of person you are.

Glad you got banned, hope you stay banned. We don't need and we don't want people like you.

You legit talk more in those games then I have the entire season. Ok, that's exaggerating but man..... Use the mute button take your own advice.

Did you get permabanned for this? I think chat restriction probably, but permaban seems a little excessive base on these chat logs. Unless you are hiding the bad ones.

Also, just a personal observation from your logs you seem to care way too much about how other people play the game. That is a stigma for a lot of people. You essentially assert yourself as being better, but you are not considering that you are in the same league with these people. So although you may genuinely care it may come out as insulting. I wouldn't be surprised that if this is how you play every game you probably get at least 1 report per.

Just care about your own game help when you can. Sounds like you play mid and that is a good because you will literally be the last stand when top and bot fail. They will have to push mid because it is the shortest distance to base and while mid stands for enemy to go deep into your second or base turret leaves them open for ganks. That is where you usually rebalance the game.

BE THAT SILENT MONSTER who lives in mid lane man. For when unsuspecting pray come its all too late.
