why riot should change the report system and why you should quit this game (IMO)

the report system is one that only punishes people for using the chat, you can get permabanned for saying someone is bad at a game in an aggressive way pretty easily but inting is not bannable. i know this from experience i myself have been banned on multiple occasions and now permabanned. i have tested the system out by purposly inting in ranked games as nasus or other champs. people reported me but i knew i had the safety net of a bot not being able to tell the difference between me being just bad or actually inting. ive played with friends where i inted their promos on purpose but no punishment. unless im actually running it down mid going0/20 would i get banned. however, if you are to just talk shit in game you are banned? if someone has the option to mute you but not the option to stop you from actually feeding why is one bannable and the other one not. this game is just a form of cancer that can take over your whole life with how addictive it is, i stopped going to the gym, studying, and doing stuff for my various sports. i encourage people to quit the game because of how it is able to act like a drug and ruin ur whole life. but dont get me wrong i have had some great times in this game, mostly in norms trolling or curb stomping dog players but a few in ranked when we actually win. i dont get why the game feels rigged when you are actually trying to climb. i experienced this after going on a 7 game win streak with nasus and being put with people who had no idea what they were doing or were either unranked. they have some great stuff in this game but the community is utter dog shite, i have contributed to that toxicity and I'm not saying I'm perfect but texting "ur a dumbfucking ass for inting" is more bannable than someone purposely trying to lose the game, the system is flawed. i hope that anyone who reads this at least tries to give up their addiction to this game, at the end of the day you being master or diamond or gold or whatever ur ranked goal is will do nothing for you in life unless you are a streamer ofc. i can only think of all the things i couldve done if i had only not been playing this game, 100 hours of ranked vs 100 hours of working out or school work or with friends.

Is the system perfect? No way. But there are some cases where people get punished for trolling/griefing/inting. Maybe not as much as we would like to see it but these things are (in theory) also punishable.

Yeah, respect lost here.

Muting does only stop me from reading your comments - it doesn't actually stop the people to spew their negative stuff in the chat. Just because there are ways to make you silent for the rest of the game shouldn't mean you are allowed to keep up this attitude.

this game is just a form of cancer that can take over your whole life with how addictive it is [...] i encourage people to quit the game because of how it is able to act like a drug and ruin ur whole life

I don't agree with the comparison but it's true that it can ruin someones life. But way more things factor into a serious addiction. And a lot, really a lot of other stuff can also make you addicted - not just drugs, things you encounter in your daily life. As a human-being you should be able reflect things, care for yourself in a proper way - it isn't always the "bad bad game" who is completely guilty for addiction.

E.g. Alcohol can seriously ruin someones life, I guess you heard that at least once from someone, somewhere, maybe back then in school? Not everyone who drinks is in danger to get their life destroyed.

But... it is bannable.. you even got banned for it didnt you? You said you get banned if you run down mid going 0/20. So if you do it WITH THE PURPOSE OF MAKING IT HARD FOR THE SYSTEM TO DETECT, and get away with it, suddenly you think that means its not bannable? You go to college with that kind of logic? Come on man

Can you share the account name so we can check out the match history on the account you were trolling on? I wanna see the scores and shit lol. Sounds entertaining.

Anyway, any game can be addictive. Video games in general are harmful unless you can manage to play them in moderation. For instance, I am terrible at moderation. Most of my free time is spent playing starcraft for like 20 years now. Its ridiculous. I dont think league is any more addictive than starcraft or wow or diablo or poe or any other game that has no real ending. Well, the lack of an ending is just to extend the length of time you will be addicted. I get addicted to RPGs that I play, but when I beat them, my addiction slowly subsides and is replaced by a different game. Whereas with starcraft, there is no end so its lasted 20 years lol. Hell, league is one of the less addictive games for me.. nothing special about it, I dont know how it got so big lol. Its pretty mediocre. I think it varies from person to person. Its just video games in general. Im one of those people that thinks parents shouldnt let their kids play video games until theyre at least like 15. Its just bad for children.
