Riot Supports Racism?

I reported a fellow summoner for racism in game with which he used to provoked me after him and his duo decided to troll during the entire course of the game. The trolling was tilting but I wasn't going to let it phase me. Then the same person decided to call me the "N" word which pushed me over the line and caused me to say that him and his duo were "braindead". Because of this, I alone, got penalized and chat restricted and had my honor reset to 0 just before the season ends with no way to get back to level 2 to receive rewards. I opened up a ticket trying to make sure that I understood why I got penalized for self-defense against racism and why he received no punishment. I realize that the summoner may have been punished without my knowing but after talking to riot support, I realized that they simply overlooked it. After having a discussion with riot support, they simply told me "they would look into it" but I am having a hard time accepting this because they have never done that for me or anyone of my friends who plays League of Legends in the past. Now I take full responsibility for my toxicity and I deserve my punishment 100% but I am just confused as to why I was the only one who got penalized. Is Riot racist or supporting racism? Or am I overanalyzing? Your thoughts?

You didn't realize anything. Riot does not ever release any information about punishment taken against other players. They won't tell you anything that even hints at that information.

Had you muted them, you would've been fine. You chose to retaliate, which is just as bad as if you started it.

Calling them brain dead alone won't take you to h0.

Chatlogs or it didn't happen.

Riot isn't supporting racism, but their IFS seems to have faults in detecting their Zero Tolence (ZT) words. Some people say that the ZT word need to be said twice for them to register to IFS - maybe that was your case too? (I have no idea if that rumor is true or not, I just know that people who have said it only once have walked free before - even with support tickets).

That "they would look into it" reply is their standard reply. They might look into it, or might not. We the players have no way of knowing. However, it isn't healthy to continue following the person's league career, so once you have filled in the report and possibly a support ticket, you would do well to forget the case. There is nothing else you can do after all.

Is it racist if they just hate all races? I think their automated system has become self aware and just hates people in general from analyzing reports 24/7.

It's an auto punishment.

Support can't talk about other punishments.

Self defense isn't a valid excuse. Mute, report, move on.
