can we make leaving non-ranked games only punishable with low priority and nothing else?

friend of mine got a 2 week ban on his alt for leaving a game he was 12/4 in because the jungler and top lane were verbally harassing him and basically running it down to his laner, he put up a ff vote and after they both said no (intently holding him hostage in a game that no one even remotely thought was winnable) he just left... logged in 10 minutes later and 2 week suspension

now i dont think in any capacity that leaving games like this should ever be punishable with a ban.. that would be like going to a party, then someone whipping out some illegal substance, and after you leave you get arrested by a cop 1 block away.. actually 0 logic

No. The rules are the same for every matchmade game. That is important, because there are people who play every mode. No one deserves less consideration based on what mode they're playing.

You generally dont get banned for leaving so either:

A) Your friend leaves a metric fuck ton of matches

B) Your friend flamed the fuck out of people before he left and got punished for that

Think your friend is lying to you. Either he's had recent chat restrictions or he called people slurs before leaving. Thats how you get a 14 day ban

Holy shit. Banned for AFK? Your friend has to leave A LOT of games to get that. Tell him to stop leaving so damn often.
