Ban and how it should be done

This is indeed my new account, cause I got from permabanned back in 2019, I've come to the conclusion that the ban system is severely flawed and shouldn't stop people from playing the game. My claim, like my situation, if I'm flaming in chat but I'm not throwing and I'm still actually trying to win, how about instead of permabanning me, you just permaban my chat, wouldn't that make more sense, I can only use pings, everyone would be happy, riot would be happy because I can't talk in chat anymore, therefore, I cant be toxic in chat, I don't throw games on purpose, I've never thrown a ranked game on purpose, so chat banning me would stop me from being toxic but it would still allow me to play the game. I'm up for debate, if there are any flaws in my idea, please present them.

Edit: For everyone saying that I would go to other methods such as trolling or inting, that isn't true at all, i didn't feel like rewriting the same sentences over and over again, in the comments so i copy pasted. there has been evidence of this also, when my chat was banned some time ago, i was mad but its only in chat, and you guys dont understand the only reason im flaming people is cause im flaming the people on my team and I want to win the game, im telling them to take drag, or stay bot, or anything like that, I wouldn't and never have resorted to feeding intentionally cause I "wAnT tO FinD aNotHeR wAy tO thRoW siNcE i cAnt uSe cHat". and I wouldn't "flame" people if they werent so god damn bad at the game. But I shouldn't get permabanned for trying to win the game and people on my team dont want to win the game, do you understand how upsetting that is? when you are trying to win a game and then at 30 minutes someone just afk's or trolls and its an automatic loss.

Riot has tried scaling chat restrictions in the past. The results were pretty bad. The underlying cause for most players' permabans is an inability or unwillingness to control themselves. When you take away the option for them to express their frustration in chat, most of them turn to other methods like trolling and inting.

Permamutes as an idea look good on paper, but they do not work properly in practice.

Now, I am aware that this has little to do with the topic at hand… but does this mean you just flat out lied in your other thread from six days ago which you started with the words:

No, I haven't gotten banned

You could already perma mute yourself.

Go to settings > interface > uncheck "enable chat".

Yeah. Flame doesn't lose games. Feed( which causes flame) does. So yeah. Permaban chat is the right way to go. Rito can straight remove chat altogether.

I agree. Losing your account because you said mean things (which, when you consider how damn sensitive the system is, could be telling someone to "stfu and play the game") is just stupid. Perma-mutes should be the way to go, or make a system where you have to play a certain number of bot games or something. You could say, "but theyll just turn to inting/trolling!" Then you permaban them. Easy. Most of my friends are pretty toxic in game, but would never intentionally grief a game.

Well you gotta think about the reason for your flaming. It was deliberately meant to hurt someone else wasnt it? Like they did something, and you felt the need to retaliate right? Chat was the tool you chose to use to enact that revenge/retaliation/need to hurt someone. So without chat, what tools are left for someone who has a tendency to retaliate/hurt people? Gameplay. You can get your fix by trolling them. That is much worse for the game. This is actually what they found to happen when they indefinitely stacked chat restrictions. They took away one tool, and people who have a tendency to break the rules just used a different tool. So they arent gonna do that again, sorry.

No, you wouldn't be happy - the entire reason you're flaming is because you have this idea that you must vent your frustration and take it out on other players. That won't stop just because you can't chat. You'll turn to things like trolling, griefing, maybe you ignore a dragon call, or you "accidentally" chase a kill when you know you shouldn't.

Don't believe me? They tried this before and it's exactly what happened.

Been suggested and tried. Riot found that players who had their chat permanently muted found other ways to rage and grief. You can disable your own chat if you're unable you use it in a way that won't get you punished.

how about we just make sure you can never make a new account and stay perm banned?
