BANNED - Taking suggestions on how to rehab + Poll

I don't know what to say anymore. Riot sent me my chat logs after the people who call for reports and flame me from lobby send reports and get me banned. I don't want to waste time saying I was right, I was not as I should have just muted and played to my best ability even though people intentionally fed or trolled me personally. Of course I get sent just my portion and not the whole chat where EVERYONE was toxic or flaming each other and I was either defending or just telling em to calm down...

Here are the final blows which led to permanent suspension. How serious do you think my toxic behavior was? Did I deserve it? What can I do to prevent this? What should I not say?

  • Game 1: The first thing I noticed here was report begging. The system only needs one report to flag the game, so threatening or calling for reports is unnecessary, is considered a form of harassment, and is considered worth punishing.

  • Game 2: I see you being rather critical of Lux. Then you start in on Poppy and Nautilus. There's not really one, single comment, but I see a lot of negative picking at them and complaints about their gameplay. If Lux was trying and failing, then those comments most likely just irritated her. If she was trolling, you gave her exactly what she wanted: Confirmation that what she did bothered you.

  • Game 3: First, you were picking at Lee Sin. Then you got mad at Jinx and called for reports on her. Again, that's something that tends to get punished.

None of the games by themselves are that bad. It's the overall negativity you display. Remember, the games in your reform card are a sample out all the games making up your case. And since you don't seem aware of how you are treating people, it's likely this type of critical behavior happens consistantly enough to trigger the punishment.

You do deserve it, as you're just adding to the already negative environment in the game. And remember, the reason this is a permaban isn't because this specific behavior from those games is permaban-worthy in and of itself. It's that you've climbed through the tiers of punishments and never thought until now that you should possibly do something about it. Punishment was deserved from that behavior, and you happened to be at the tier where your next punishment was a permaban.

But you said yourself what you need to do: Just mute the people causing problems so you won't feel compelled to retaliate. Do this once you see somebody start to harass people, and then you can report them after the game. Had you done that, they would be the ones here complaining about a ban, and you'd still have your account.

Deserved.

As for suggestions, here's your options:

  1. Mute the enemy team as soon as games start, that's 5 people you don't need to communicate with (ranked matches)
  2. Mute teammates at the very first sign of negativity/toxicity
  3. Come to the realization that engaging in a retaliatory debate with toxic children only drags you down to their level, creates a negative atmosphere for your other 3 teammates who are forced to endure it, achieves nothing, and is punishable by Riot regardless of who started it and why.
  4. Number 3 above comes with maturity, meaning you'll need to grow up.

First of all: Yes, everything you did is 100% ban worthy.

Now to help reform: My advice would be to play another MOBA while waiting for your ban to be removed (If it ever does) you might find that the way the devs on games like Smite or DOTA have behavior methods that may be even more stupid than riots and learn to cope with it. OR you might learn new ways to improve your behavior by the game’s mechanics.

For example: I took a league break when I was given a warning and switched to Heroes of the Storm for awhile and I found that the team focus was so much more important in that game that I never bothered to say anything offensive in the chat because the risk of causing tilt. Doing so helped me realize that just because you have an idiot teammate or an AFK, doesn’t mean that it’s GG.

So go play another game like league and see how the people act there and see if u understand what you did wrong.
