This community is ruining the game

Been playing this game since season 4/5 and have spent more than 1-2k hours on it mostly in ranked. I dont enjoy the game any more because of one soul reason which is the amount of time people spend typing and crying instead of actually trying to win. 99% of all the player rather spend their time fucking themselfs up the arse towards defeat by flaming and crying. Dont even know what I am doing typing here but screw it needed to vent. Gonna tp out of this putrid hellscape for a month and beg and hope that the "experience" of my long lasting favorite game might have changed afterwards....... [sg-shisa]

Agreed... everyone I know that has quit playing league has done so because of the toxic community, and I'm about to that point myself.

League used to be a lot of fun, but that feeling has been dying bit by bit every season, because LoL allows players to remain toxic with relative impunity.

At this point, I find myself ignoring both pings and the chat window because 90% of the time it's just players flaming each other. Less than ideal, but if I don't actually see them being hateful, then I can still convince myself the game is enjoyable.

The problem is, I can't ignore it when someone acts like a spoiled brat and rage quits... happened in two of the ranked games I played yesterday... one causing me to lose my promotional series, and the other during a match where our team was ahead and on the way to victory despite that one player who was getting schooled by his opponent.

LoL could put an end to it if they truly wanted to by creating a strong Code of Conduct and applying stiff penalties for violations... such as "Rage quitting during a ranked game should result in the account being banned".

I just got done with a game (SR Normals) and had someone flame me big time for no reason whatsoever. I ganked his lane, didn't feed (I was 4/0/9 that game) and did nothing to them to make them want to be upset other than running out of mana (Nasus JG was just for fun). But near the end of the game they had to say in chat "Nasus you are a worthless motherfucking piece of shit". Ok? Glad you feel that way? But why report them? Riot won't do anything about toxic players. Hell I did report them, but I suggested that they gift that person some RP for making the game what it is today. It's a joke. They don't reward the good players, only the toxic ones. Have 1 bad game and get tilted when you rarely do? BOOM, banned. Tell people to go "go kys, fuck you, insert racist remarks here, I don't care it's not like i'll get banned lmao". Yeah, I may be stepping away to other games and start spending my money there.
