Super unfair and inhuman

Riot, how is it fair when i say couple of bad words that makes me get banned permanently? What is so bad about talking sh.t? This game is competitive and you make it to be made for kids only because OMG he used a bad word, ban him. But if he trolls and spams pings he gets untargetable just because you cant detect him. There is no freedom of speech in this GAME. Finally realize that this is ** ONLY A GAME ** not a real life. Does your banning make people flame less? No. This banning system doesn't help at all. Only thing it does is that it makes people to quit leage forever, just like me now. WIll those people that reported others for verbal abuse get satisfied and less sissy? I'm sure not. They will keep on throwing games, playing bad and cry just about anything. And you support this behavior by punishing people they report and not doing ANYTHING about them. Is it so bad to vent my frustration by saying stuff? Especially when this game is created in a way to produce frustration. No matter how hard you try, how much you want to climb, if you dont have a time to climb with just above 50% win rate you are doomed. You simply can't carry solo. It's so hard to do. I don't have time to achieve challenger-like skills but I feel I should still be able to climb if it only depended on my skills. However one person CAN screw the game VEERY easily. So what you are doing is making us frustrated people to just suck it up all the time to let the rage acummulate and have an even worse day than if I've spoken my mind. What you want to do is to stop people from being humane and feel bad emotions too and express them... you simply can't. I know there are people who can be calm no matter what but some people simply can't. That's because we are different, all people are different. Am i punished for being different and more short tempered? There is no physical harm to anyone and letting people listen sh.t in game is not as bad. That is simply life, there will always be people saying sh** but don't be a freaking weakling and just accept it.

Which is why Riot can hold these rules. It's their game. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequence from everyone, only from the government. Everyone else can treat you differently depending on how you act and that includes Riot.

Were you flaming people that led to your ban? If so, you quitting is decreasing the amount of people who are flaming others.

Without changing what league is, it's not going to change how team-orientated and snowbally the game is.

There are plenty of other ways of expressing your rage without it getting transmitted to everyone online. If you can't calm down in a normal manner or change how you handle frustrating things in a videogame find some other way to calm down. Be it through getting a stress ball, yelling out-loud, or tenderizing a pillow.

Being short tempered doesn't excuse you when you break the rules anywhere else, why would here be any different?

I hate this "no physical harm" excuse. If you honestly believe that everything is fine so long as no physical harm is done then you should be perfectly fine with your ban.

Your ban didn't do any physical harm.

It was not "couple of bad words". For you to get permabanned, it has to be several instances of mild toxicity or a few instances of egregious toxicity. Suffice it to say, it was not just a couple of bad words, it was consistent toxicity or egregious toxicity.
You are right, it is "ONLY A GAME", so there is no need to behave in the manner you did. The "it's only a game" argument is a two way street.
The chat restrictions & 14-day ban are intended to help reform people who are not following the rules. The permanent ban is (quite literally0 the indicator that you and your behavior are not wanted. They (Riot) are hoping you will exit the community.
If you need to vent, yell it out loud, or do it somewhere that the rules are different. Don't do it where the rules expressly forbid it.
You should not be climbing when you are playing at a mediocre level. This isn't an MMO where you can just keep leveling. I say this as one of the mediocre or below average players who does not play ranked.
You can express your emotions, but you must do so in a manner that does not break the rules.
You are being punished because you broke the rules. Your temperament is inconsequential. It doesn't matter if you are hot headed or non-confrontational. Breaking the rules is treated the same.

Its bad because it drives players away from the game and creates a reputation for being a "toxic" game. This hurts their bottom line. So they create rules against it. You broke the rules, so now you recieve the consequence. Fuck with their playerbase, and theyre gonna ban you because its hurting their profits. This aint communist china. Those profits are important in a capitalist economy. How is there gonna be a game if most players quit because theyre getting flamed all the time? And idc about your opinion on those players. I care about logic and reason for a company to create such strict rules. Find the reason and understand it. It helps a lot to have an understanding of the situation. It will relieve some of that frustration you feel when you actually have a grasp on the reasoning behind these decisions.
