Something to think about

With the season coming to a close, I can't help but feel a bit cheated. I've played league for 5 seasons now. Was honorable enough to unlock icons in the old honour system and got to level 4 in the new honour system. I was never banned or chat restricted. I played alot of good games this season (800+). I lost it in one game because I said a word I genuinely didn't realize was as bad as it is. I know it was just this one game because when I received my insta 14 day ban it only showed on games chat logs. Even at the time the punishment felt fairly harsh considering I've played 1000+ league games of good behaviour. I waited though and educated myself on the context of the word. Regardless as wether I meant it as sexist I understand why it has a sexist connotation, and it makes sense that punishment system would pick up on it. But now I lose my post season rewards because of this as well. Literally less than 0.002% of my games were punishable. What do you guys think? Should the punishment system take into account your pattern of good behaviour in previous games?

People here don't know what a warning is. They think a punishment is a warning. They fail to see a warning is not a punishment.

I think this was well deserved by you from Riot. I previously had chat restrictions but now I'm a reformed man. Your fault for making that poor decision.

No, it shouldn't. Because then people would go on streaks of being a good little angel, and choose one game to do whatever they wanted because they could get away with it for being that good little angel for months and the system would go, "oh they've been good non-stop for 1k+ games, lets not punish them for hate speech."

ignorance is not a bliss man. look at the bright side, now you know that word is serious and offensive.
