What is the frickin deal?

I do not understand this game. I installed about 2 weeks ago and am definitely still learning... I'm only level 8. Tonight I was playing a game and not doing well. The heimerdinger and riven on my team started calling me a bad player. Ok. I can deal with that. Then they started telling me they hope I die painfully and my mom and dad too. Then they hope my mom and dad rape me until they infect me with aids and I die painfully while being fucked by my own parents. After about 20 minutes of this I admitedly lost my cool and started talking back. So.... Do I deserve the 14 day suspension I just received? more than likely, yes. I shouldn't have done that. But why are the people who told me to uninstall then go kill myself and they hope I'm raped to death still playing?
