Permanently Banned after 2 games.

I haven't played in almost a year. I played 2 games on it today because I heard they brought back Solo queue, and after those 2 games I received a Perma. Yes, I was 'Toxic,' yet nothing I said warrants a straight Perma. I didn't tell anyone to Kill themselves, wish cancer on anyone, or even swear. I read on the FaQ that is Goes 10 Game - 25 Games - 14 Day - Perma, but obv this isn't the case. How does one get Permasd after 2 games, without Swearing, Saying Homophobic/Racial Slurs, Wishing cancer/death etc. There are champion quotes that say Worse than anything I have typed in chat.

So again I ask, what warrants a Perma? Theres a big absence of Wishing Cancer and Death, Absence of Racism/Sexism/Homophobia. I wasn't aware calling people out on their bullshit was grounds for a permaban. Has nothing really changed in a year?

I put this in general by mistake to start, and the general consensus was there was nothing in the logs that was even close to ban worthy. Would be cool to get a red on this.

you were raging and flaming a bit but far from what i see in most games.. and im pretty damn harsh on those who try to cry about an unfair perma ban but if these chats are unaltered and true to what you actually said... then yes you got shafted...

i would expect a 10 game chat restriction.

but perma ban seems extreme

Nobody here is thinking about the fact that he left the game a year ago because he had a 14 day ban? Even if you leave the game for years, last marked information in the system is "this guy is one step away from getting perma banned". You have to play games to show better behaviour to drop down from the 14 day tier.

So i think they you are missing something here. YOu do not get a clean slate for not playing a year. The system is based on in game progress, so what ever level of toxic you were 11 months ago this is where you are now.

The system sent you the most recent logs, that may or may not be a realistic view of your behavior.

I am surprised that no one is realizing a time gap of playing the game would not bother the system for punishment, but instead distort the log system.

I think the guy you said this to him ''then you jsut run in 1v34'' didn't like you telling him what to do, but yeah, if you got reported for that, Riot may be too harsh. Already tried to contact Riot through the customer support? It's your last hope, I wish you good luck getting your account back!

I'm quite sure meanwhile the other guy who was spamming "kys” will get away with unpunished because that's how inefficient and how random this system is. Otherwise I won't be still seeing extremely toxic players on a daily basis after years.

my opinions

  1. This system is flawed so I'm not surprised,I wouldn't even call you toxic when people with sexualism and racism usernames who tell people to kill themselves are still running around and showing up every other game. 2.This game it's not worth playing anymore anyway. They screwed up balance for season7 as well. So you can gladly put your time into something that's more beneficial

Some of what you were saying can be annoying, but I can't imagine anyone reporting you for it unless they just report every game. That, and I can't imagine a Riot staff member banning you for just what's in THIS chat log. That just seems... weird.

Again, some of what you were saying might have irritated me if I was in your game, but without your teammate's chat, it doesn't give much context as to how bad they were being, which while I don't think excuses back-and-forth fighting, may actually make a lot of the things you said pretty innocuous.

This does seem extremely harsh. A lot of your toxicity is actual argument about strategy and how to go about the game, which is permitted.... I don't know what else to say but to contact support, it might be a weird case or miscalculation since you haven't played in two years... then again perma-bans are checked by staff so I don't know what's going on here. But at least you will get some kind of answer. And if you do, can you please post it here? So that people can see how these situations are resolved and worked through. Good luck with the ticket.

Bro i got perma banned from 1 player legit. After my game ended i got honored by 3 teammates and perma banned after 1 game bcs our intentionall feeder lee sin reported me for flame yep i was toxic but he was inting and he ruined our game. I dont know, perma banned from 1 int troller?I find it quite unfair. I called him trash but my entire team agreed with me. Since when inting is allowed and being toxic without calling someone anything really bad is not. I repeat perma banned after 1 game with a troller

This is what I posted inside the Ticket

Basically as the title Says, I just played 2 games after being away for almost a year, and after those 2 games I got hit with a Permanent Ban. I'm not saying I wasn't "Toxic," but a Permaban for chat that doesn't have Homophobic/Racial Slurs, wishing cancer, telling people to kill themselves etc.. none of that exists in the chat.

This has to be a Gross Oversight. There is no way a company bans a random player for typing, without the presence of "Kill yourself," "Get Cancer," etc. Kleds quotes are worse than anything I said. Theres not even so much as a swear in chat...

Hell, it takes Video proof of High Elo players trolling getting to the front page of reddit to get people banned, but you're willing to ban someone over chat when theres Champion Quotes in the Game that say worse?

So I can get paired with people who swear all game, call people Motherfuckers, tell others to kill themselves, but arguing about how to go about the game, without saying anything close to what anyone else said that game, warrants a Permanent Ban....

I understand that others may be provocative or negative in their own right, but that never excuses responding to that negativity with more negativity. Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior only and it doesn't matter who "started it." The suspension issued to your account is a permanent one and we won’t be able to lift it. With our Instant Feedback system, accounts now will be generally issued punishments on an escalating path which looks like this:

10 chat restrictions->25 chat restrictions->2 week suspension->Permaban

Any negative behavior that would result in a punishment (even restrictions) will bump an account up the next tier. Those players that don’t make the effort to reform after sets of restrictions and just continue to create a negative experience for others will be escalated to a 2 week suspension then finally a permaban. Also keep in mind that it is still possible to jump steps on the escalation path depending on the severity of the negative behavior found in games.

Doesn't address the ticket at all. smh

If you talk THAT much in a game about other players on your team doing badly you probably deserve to get banned. That's annoying. Concentrate on your own mistakes, not everyone else's

Send another ticket, their Support staff is just busy eating donuts and farting around doing nothing as usual. Maybe you can get one of them to, you know, actually do what they are paid to do-- work-- and read the e-mail when you send it.
