This is why permabans aren't a good thing

Welp, shit happens I guess...and shit will happen again. With this being said, this ban doesnt mean shit to me, if people keep pretending to be funny or tough by banning the champion I want to play, I will troll the fuck back out of them. If Riot Games thinks banning me in that situation is the solution for this problem, then go on, ban my next account and the next one and the next one and so on. I will continue just the way I was -Shaclone

Prime example of why permanent bans don't create a healthy environment or remove toxic players. They just create Tyler1 and now Shaclone, or Tyler2.

Perm bans didnt create their toxicity, their toxicity created permanent bans.

Most people don't continue to be toxic. If Shaclone wants an indefinite ban, okay.

So I am going to start my argument by stating - yes, I watch and like Shaclone. I still watch him now after he got banned, though not as much as i did before because there are other streamers that i recently found, but I watch him none-the-less.

However, what he did was toxic, and when it comes to intentionally feeding it is one the most annoying and unpleasant of the toxic behaviours that can be exhibited by a player (part of the reason I went looking for other streamers). I think there have been several good points made that oftentimes when Shaclone did his "blue shen" it was simply a confrontation between him and one other player on his team and the other 3 players on his team got the horrible luck of being stuck in the feed fest. Shaclone was not in the right to do his blue shen just because one player banned his champ and talked trash. It is very upsetting when someone in your game specifically bans your champ and says "I don't trust champion's name players at this elo", or something along that lines. In the case of Shaclone it was more than just that, it was players actively seeking to aggravate a response and they got one, but that doesn't put shaclone in the right.

On the other hand, I do want to say that there should be a way to report players when they do this bs and ban your champion because they think they are being funny or they doubt your skill. Like wtf, who do these people think they are? On top of that, the people who do that sort of thing usually end up being toxic in-game and sure they get reported for it, but if we aren't going to get a specific report option for this kind of behavior, couldn't we at least put in a feature in champ select where a champion cannot be banned by a fellow teammate if you choose it as what you intend to play? It just seems like Shaclone was the only one punished (punished for a very good reason) when there were other people who I doubt will ever even receive a message from riot.

No one can reasonably deny that Shaclone deserved his ban, but if he is going to be punished cant we at least see some sort of reaction from Riot in the form of extra reporting options, or changes to how champ select works? gl on the rift summoners

Shaclone got banned because he intentionally threw games when some of his teammates slighted him in some way. If this were just between two people, it would just make both sides guilty of trolling.

But that's the thing, it's never just between two people when he throws the game. Him and the person he's angry at are not the only people on the team. There's three other players in the game that usually did nothing to troll Shaclone, but he trolls them anyway. Heck, in one situation, he trolls a Malzahar that even gave his jungler role to Shaclone in champion select when requested. All because he got angry at some other players on the team. If that Malzahar were to follow the same principles of Shaclone, they would consider it perfectly within their right to intentionally throw the next game they find themselves with Shaclone.

Yeah and shaclone didn't deserve the ban so it is riots fault. If your own team bans your champ you deserve to lose. I do the same thing

That's why lifetime bans are a thing.

This joker, like tyler before him, thinks himself above the rules, and "too-cool-to-fail". He also, for some reason, thinks that a multi-billion, industry leading company, gives a flying fart about, or is afraid of, one little toxic.

So, if he continues his bullsh*, he will very soon find out what a lifetime ban feels like.

btw. if you are not familiar with the terms:

If a player gets a Lifetime-Ban, all accounts that can be connected to him, wheter or not they had any toxic behaviour in their records, are immediately banned, as well as all future accounts that person creates or plays on.

And trust me when I tell you, Riot is very very good at finding alternate accounts.
