I cannot justify turning this game on anymore

I've played this game since maybe 2011, 2012 and have only ever really played it with friends or just casually in normals, arams etc.

But every time I seem to play this game nowadays it seems 9/10 you will be put into a game with people who are apparently allowed to have racist names, say racist things, say homophobic things, say xenohpobic things, and in general just be extremely unpleasant.

I've reported people, I've done all the usual stuff. Sometimes I will rise to it, sometimes not.

At the end of the day now though I just don't really turn this thing on that much anymore. Any time I think of putting it on, I end up pondering "is this worth it, because all I'm going to see is horrible people, I can do that by jumping on 4chan or some nonsense". I just don't see the point. Why should I give any care to a game if the team that runs it don't either. They could fix it, they could spend some profits or redistribute some funds into improving the community, but they don't. And at this point now I just don't really want to be around horrible people like that, it's just a waste of time. I've spent a lot of money on this game, still really like some of the characters, I used to play it all the time with friends, but I just don't really see it as a good experience anymore. Maybe back years ago it wasn't as bad, or not as noticeable, or maybe I've just smartened the fuck up, but I just don't really get it anymore.

Being around horrible people is not an experience I want to expose myself to, and it's certainly no longer a thing I want to throw money at. At this point, I don't know if I will keep playing, maybe the odd game once a week or something, but I just see it less and less worthwhile now. I'm not even the person who is the victim of this abuse most of the time, it's not as if I'm black or gay or whatever, so I can only imagine what it must be like if you actually are.

They talked a lot about new things coming to this game months ago in their big reveal, and have it plastered all over their new shiny client, but it seems evident they spent no money on cleaning up the community, so I won't help pay for anything anymore.

I agree its pretty easy but how many times do I got to report someone for saying the N-word or "kys" and riot not think to make a filter at this point. It seems pretty ridiculous to have words that are auto-banned and allow them to be said anyways... Like is adding a filter that hard? I'm guessing the argument is going to be "but you can just go around filters". But I seriously don't find that as a good excuse.

Also before any morons start saying there is a maturity filter, I don't care about 90% of the cus words being said. There are some specific words like "fuck" "%%%%" "ass" "bitch" and so on that you can say in ways that aren't offensive, but you can't really say KYS or the n-word in non-offensive ways. And riot should really add filters for words that are obviously hate-speech.

Basically, what I am saying is, I shouldn't have to see ass and fuck filtered to have kys and the n-word filtered. Those should just be default and there shouldn't be a setting to disable it.
