What it means to be a TEAM

So, with the new honor system coming out and everything, I've decided to make my first actual forum/board post. People say that solo queue, especially div 5 in any rank, is insanely Singed to which I can probably agree. The thing that people fail to realize however is that you winning or losing is in no way you, or any of your teammates faults. I don't care if bot lanes goes 0/10/2, you are still a team, and it's impossible to win by yourself. Rather than playing for yourself, play as a team and accomplish things as a team. Help people when they are doing sub-par. Give people the chance to get better and expand on their play rather than tilting them further by arguing about how they messed up. The better that you all function together is the mark for how well you will do in your current, and all future games.

There is a reason why league use to have the tool-tip in the load screen that more honorable players win ...what was it... 16% more of their games? I honestly don't remember the statistic, but it makes sense considering that those players will make someone want to try. I was just in a ranked game that was a 4v5. I was on the team of 4, our support was in a storm and constantly DC'd making it a 3v5, and our team wanted to FF. I constantly told our team that we can do this, and that they both might come back, we still have a chance. Actually, Leona did come back, and with good shot-calling and communication we won the game. Although that might not always be possible, it's the teamwork that we had through communication rather than just summoner 14 at each other and typing "/all report Leona and Vayne afk" that allowed us to win.

The main message is that instead of giving up and shifting blame on a teammate, no matter how good you are, you have to win as a team. The victory or defeat banner isn't displayed on only your screen. Besides, the more people that take on this attitude, than the more opportunity you have to positively experience you yourself messing up. No one is perfect, and no matter what insane win-rate you have we can all take a bit of something to learn from our teammates.
