Asking for reports, publicly saying that you'll report someone, publicly muting someone, and calling someone toxic or troll are all negative behaviors.
1 report does everything that 9 reports does. No need to ask for others to report.
Muting and reporting are private decisions, that should be used to defuse a situation. That is, if you mute someone, you stop caring what they're typing. If you decide to report someone, you can relax, knowing that the system will handle them so you don't have to be the one to punish them with insults. Saying publicly that you're doing either of those things escalates the situation. Making them more upset at you, and more likely to do things to cause a loss.
Calling someone toxic does nothing to stop their toxicity. If they were, report them after the game. You can also mute if you're done listening to them.
Calling someone a troll does one of two things. If the person was not trolling, you're abusing someone who was trying. This will influence them to play worse than before. If the person was trolling, 'calling them out' will encourage them that they got a response. This will influence them to play worse than before, to get another rise out of you. Wait, that means there's only one result, worse teammates who are more likely to lose the game.
Defend yourself with, "You're mistaken in your analysis" or some other variant of that idea, if you need to defend yourself. But, don't go overboard. The more time you spend typing in response to toxicity, the less you're playing the game. Mute helps, if you can't help responding to people. Messages that don't communicate any gameplay information can be viewed poorly by the IFS.
