Duo Auto locking top?

So I just got in a game where I called adc first, and was rewarded by a duo who wanted bot lane instalocking duo top. I was left without a support and my game got completely ruined as I just kept getting killed time and time again. I tried switching lanes but the enemy support came top and continued the 2v1. One of the people in the duo claimed "I play duo with my friend to duo with them, so I'm going to lane with them no matter what. Even if that means going top" (that's paraphrasing btw). So basically, my question is, do they have the right to ruin others game just because they are a duo and therefore want to lane together? PS I know I could've just given bot to the duo but I just got pulsefire caitlyn from a friend for my birthday and wanted to use the skin once.

no they are selfish pricks that shouldn't play games if you don't take into account other peoples experience

Seriously, Blind Pick is the wild west. First-come/first-serve lane calling reliant on the care and consideration of your team in champ select is primed for disaster.

there is no such things as a locked position in blind pick. it's the wild wild west there and every thing goes.

Sounds like a terrible duo to me. You can pretty much guarantee being bot together in Draft by having one guy select Support/Fill and the other guy selecting Bot/Support.
