Unfair Ban System

Some guy in an aram game called me a "%%%" then I said "scared to call me a %%%%%% so you don't get banned?" And somehow I got banned for saying %%%%%% but he didn't get banned for calling me a %%%? How does it work? Yes I realize I said some things like "pussy" and "idiot" but those don't warrant a 14 day ban .

So you know the word is bannable, but you didnt think about that you get banned when you write it?

Two things:

  1. based on your side of the chat log, it appears that YOU were the one who started with that %'ed word and was trying to bait them into saying it so that you could get them punished.

flex q abuser: scaring of saying %%%%%% so you dont get banned?

If you open up a support ticket and this indeed is the case, you may get a harsher punishment because Tantram has escalated things based on his own review of someone's chat logs and had player behavior follow up on it. I distinctly remember a case where the person had tried to bait others into saying zero tolerance policy words and falsely claimed that a person had called him that word and that did not end well for the person who falsely claimed that. Riot has access to full chat logs, both sides, not just what you see in your reform card.

  1. If this is not how it appears, and it is a false positive, then you can open a support ticket and appeal the decision and request a review. You may get your punishment removed, however, you must be polite and courteous to them because they have no obligation to remove your punishment.

You said something of Zero Toletance and got reported. If he said something of Zero Tolerance and got reported, they probably will be punished too.

The ban system is unbalanced. Someone can literally ruin the game flow, stay quiet, and then passive-aggressive put it all back to you when you react (sure, I drop chat-bombs)... but the game review doesn't show anything, just the chat.

The fact that I asked support to not farm creeps and she told me to "get over it" in a ranked game shouldn't get me irked? And then began challenging me for last hits so either I occasionally got them, she did, or minions farmed it.

I left lane, reminded her constantly how the game loss was "on her <chat-bomb chat bomb> shoulders" and I'm banned for toxicity. Today's kids (the ones "volunteering" to police this stuff) believe disagreement = toxic. So when I start disagreeing and they then accuse me of being toxic, I demonstrate clearly what toxic might mean.

It costs me a few games with limited discussion; oh well.

As i can see now, this is completly common in this unbelievable childish game where u can't even have other opinion than people. As i learned today, u can't even say u want to report someone, u can't say anything negative about anything, litearlly. U baisicly shouldn't even write anything on chat if u want to feel save. Saying ''go ff'' is punishable. The most funny thing about it is that 90% od players really agree with this (as u can see on this forum, i feel like in Star Wars trying to speak with others, but everyone is a clone).

I don't like that you got punished but I don't disagree with it either. You can't blame someone for calling you something and then bait them into saying more.

I think if you file a support ticket found here, there's a very slim chance you could get unbanned or have the punishment reduced. I wouldn't get your hopes up, just try not to do this in the future. Good luck.
