My mid laner quite actually said 'top difference' the second my laner respawned and roamed to a fight they were having in their jungle. Then kept spamming 'top diff'. Being a passive aggressive ass all game and constantly pinging me. I didn't report him, but I get a chat restriction for THIS?

You literally did the same behavior you're complaining about them doing to you - just using different words. Yet you're surprised that it's punishable? So you're complaining about someone else behaving in a way that you think shouldn't be punished? Or is it that you only think it should be okay when you do it and that the rules should apply to everyone but you?
