Stronger punishment for AFK

Thoughts I personally think there should be harder punishments for people who AFK in ranked game.

**Solution ** I'm not taking about, it happens once in a while, talking about the people who clearly say in chat " I'm AFK " or "Bye" or " Screw you guys I'm out"

the thought is a 3 tier system, First one is player verbally says it in chat they are going to AFK Second Player is marked as leaver. Third Player is gone from the match for longer then 5 minutes,

**Explaining system ** This would make it so if someone is just messing around with friends and comes back right away this wouldn't effect them, Second if someone doesn't say it in chat it would prevent people who are leaving by serious issue with connection or client. right now the player loses LP, and is hit with a 5/15 minute timer, which doesn't really effect anyone because they aren't spending the time they would have spent in game, the extra 15 minutes is pointless, As for the LP they are prepared to lose it anyways.

So on to the suggestion of what to do, Once you hit 5 within a 4 month period the bans will start kicking in however until then. Player is required to completed one non-ranked match, Aram/Summoners rift/Twisted treeline before returning to ranked. Once this happens for the first time, it will be always added to itself for how many games you must completed, First time - 1 game, second 4, third is 6, 4th game 8, 5th game 10. This would at least provide the harsh punishment for the people who intentionally leave. That way each person must fall into all 3 categories to be effected by this system and some people who have issue with connection will be only effected by current system for a short period of time. This will also help when people are banned due to repeated AFK/leaving better layout for appeals due to the type of AFK they are committing.

So, as long as I don't say I'm going to rage afk/quit; then i won't be included in your system?

Chronic rage quitters are currently already manually reviewed and 14-day banned when punished.

Imho they should just ban people who afk, whatever the reason is, from ranked games. Forcing them to play a certain amount of normals. (E.g. 2 normals first time, 5 the second, 10 the third, 50 the fourth and 100 the fifth). This way people will probably start appreciating their free time, and respecting others'.

It's a community of kids, they need to be taught respect for the one next to them.
