I get that that was somewhat toxic, however most of it was me responding to the cass and the panth on the other team that kept saying things like "free kill mid" and "lmao fucking trash anivia"

I thought it had to be repeated toxicity, not a single game where you lose your cool. Im level 26 and this is the first game that ive slipped I think its outrageous that i lose my hextech crafting for the rest of the season because of this. (I was super honorable getting honored nearly every game before this, still hadnt hit level 3 so im assuming i wont even make it to level 1 by the end of the season)

First off, the title of this thread is slightly inaccurate, you were chat restricted for 2 games not only 1 (since you provided 2 games from your chat logs).

So, you were asking for reports on your team, telling them they suck, then try to surrender and when your team didn't you started asking "who said no".

you claim that you were responding to the enemy team that said things like "free kill mid" and "lmao fking trash anivia" yet you called her trash yourself:

Regardless, even if your intention wasn't negative, and you actually didn't mean to call her trash. context doesn't matter, you should type less and play more.

If you can't read, there's definitely two games there. You can be punished for one game, but usually it is more than one game that shows a pattern of toxicity. If these two games were close to each other, then it shows a pattern.

You were lucky that your threats of intentionally feeding ("open mid") didn't get a 14 day ban off the bat.

As for hextech and other things, I'm pretty sure that chat restrictions only move you down to level 1, assuming you were at level 2 to start. Thus, you will still get keys, but at a much lower rate than at level 2. Assuming you clean up your act and keep playing a decent amount of games, it's almost guaranteed you'll both hit level 2 by the end of the season, and be eligible for season rewards. Usually only bans within the past few months of the season and/or active chat restrictions disqualify you.

These 2 games are not the most toxic log I've seen, but it is neither positive nor neutral either. You are definitely an unpleasant teammate to play with. It's possible these are just 2 samples of your long history of mild toxicity. It doesn't need to be extreme toxicity to be punished. If you accumulate a frequency of reports (especially under level 30) over the majority of your game, you will be punished once you've reached a certain limit, even if the games are only mildly toxic.

I do know that I would have reported you in both games if I played with you. Less typing, more playing.
