So i was thinking of trying out some custom skins because i want to spice up my gaming experince alittle but i heard that some ppl can get banned from using custom skins. So Is it possible to get banned from using custom skins or is it a 'use-at-your-own-risk' and its feasible from me to get banned.

They're technically "use-at-your-own-risk" but there are a few trusted sites that seem to be overall safe and secure.

I personally have dabbled with custom skins before and haven't ever had any trouble; although I only used them for a bit because maintaining them through patch updates and such was more of a hassle then it was worth the effort.

Anything that modifies the internal game files such as skins/voices is, as said in another comment, "use at your own risk". However, I strongly discourage you from doing them, because the risk is very high.

If the developer updates the app and adds a new feature? Could flag it as a bad program. If the program edits the wrong files to do its job? Could flag it as a bad program. Heck, even if it's not violating the spirit of the policy, it's violating the word which is don't edit critical game files. Thus, just don't do it.

I'm not sure if it's safe or not. It may classify as third-party programs or scripting by Riot. If that is the case you won't find out until the next ban wave for those offenses.

I would recommend reading the EULA and Terms of Use more thoroughly, they probably explicitly state if such custom skins programs are allowed.

Doubtful it's allowed, since custom skins can give one an advantage by making VFXs clearer and more accurate of the hitboxes than they are on the vanilla game

Then what about programs that let you use the in-game skins and not custom skins like lolskinmod and not something like MK jogo witch lets you use feature's like camp timer etc.

Using a viewer for official skins is, effectively, stealing their intellectual property and therefore bannable.
