Why??

(I hope this is in the right board)

why can a SINGLE chat restriction (that you got because you were getting flamed and bullied the entire game by an inting and afk farming xayah) take your honor from level 5, that you took to get the entire season, to level 1??? its completely unreasonable to be denied ALL the hard work taken just because of a single mistake. 5 to 1, and LOCKED honor (meaning I wont even be able to get to honor 2 before the season ends and get my border) is way too harsh. This is the first chat restriction I've had since season 5 and the fact that I'm losing out on all of my end season rewards is completely bull. The honor lock will last longer than my chat restriction, which is 10 games, will make it impossible to get back up the honor chain. Why not just demote the honor to like 2 levels below you, not all the way down to level 1???

Imagine that you have an employer who, because they like you, regularly gives you bonuses.

Why can just one violation of company policy cause you to get written up, and have all the extra bonuses stop?

They're not firing you. They're just not inviting you out to the hockey game on Friday. The hockey game is for people who don't violate company policy. By next year, you may have worked your way back up, and they'll take you to the playoff game then. But this year, you fucked up the week before they were buying tickets.

If you don't like Honor and End-of-Season rewards as they are now, you'd likely hate how it was handled years prior. Get a 14-day ban a couple of months before the end of the season? No rewards. Get a chat restriction at any point at or after the end of the season? No rewards.

It's literally nothing new.

As for the dramatic Honor drop for a punishment; getting a punishment is hard to do, you'd have to pretty much go out of your way to break the rules to get one. As such, it wouldn't be right to consider a player who broke the rules so frequently or so egregiously as "honorable", hence the drop from any level to Honor Level 1 (or lower, depending on offense).

Bunch of people who do not understand how unfair this season has got to in terms of receiving rewards, they turn out to be silvers or bronzes. It is unfair compared to previous years, and you simply do not understand. Have been gold and plat for 5 years with this and the other account, and it is way much harder to climb up from honor level 0 or 1 to 2 then the others.
