Does anyone in Riot read the reports?

Just curious, I just had a really toxic member on my team and wrote a full report(up to the limit). I guess venting is supposed to help us feel better and give the impression Riot will "understand" the situation. Does anyone really read them ever? Do they get higher priority if you feel the need to explain?

Unfortunately, the entire instant feedback system is automated, and until Riot brings back the revamped Tribunal, don't expect Riot to read your reports (unless your reports need manual reviews, under special circumstances).

If that player's case needs to go to manual review they will read it and it may be helpful (especially if the offenses were intentionally subtle to avoid detection), but I've never heard anything that suggests the report is given special priority for having something in the description.

Nope, the system is automated.

As far as I know, escalated bans (14 day and permanent) are hand reviewed. If the bot flags your ban as escalation worthy, Riot staff will review it to be sure. Everything else is automated.

As far as I know they're used to calibrate the AI.

We think likely not and we can't confirm that support tickets are even really read and we really can't confirm that they were followed up on.
